I was planning to stop at the local Deli for a quick bite to eat. To my surprise they had closed early which lead me down the street to the Roman Castle. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive! I ordered the lasagna which came with soup or salad. I got the house salad with balsamic vinaigrette & it came with a single loaf of bread and butter. After salad and some bread I was nearly full but my lasagna came and it was beautiful, along with two pieces of garlic bread. So flavorful I could only eat half but I brought back 1/2 which I can enjoy later. Owner even came around table to table greeting guests and asking how things are, very classy! Iâll be back for sure!Thank you for letting us know how we're doing. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit with us. Our team works hard to give great service and great food. We hope to see you again soon!

Really good food here. Pizzas are fantastic, but my go-to is the Italian Beef sandwich. It comes with au jus to dip it in, and you can get it with the works (green peppers, onions and mozzarella) and/or hot giardiniera. I've never had a bad one. I think they're one of two, maybe 3 places in town that deliver, which is convenient. The dining area is very small and they do not serve alcohol, so no beer with your pizza. Also, if you dine in, expect to wait a while as they make everything fresh for you.

I was very disappointed in the service and food quality. Let's begin with the service. I had friends up for the weekend and we lost power. Portofini had power so we decided to order take-out. We called asking if there was an online menu we could look at so we weren't taking up the server's time ( or whoever answered the phone time) . They said they "thought " they did and rambled off portifino bay.com. No such website exist and after one more phone call to verify the address and multiple attempts on google- no such luck. So my friend and I drove to Portofino and found the place practically empty. Ordering for our husbands, we asked to order the largest burger they made. The bartender assured me the burgers were large. She apologetically told us they were out of fries, but could substitute fries for homemade chips. Ok , it was weird there were out of fries but we went with the flow . I ordered the shrimp kebob and my friend, the chicken sandwich. While we waited for our food , my friend asked for the wifi password since she was roaming ( she isn't from the area). The bartender said she couldn't give it out because when people log on it screws with the register. Okay, fine. Another local sits at the bar and we started chatting. He ordered the appetizer sampler and when he got it there was no chicken tenders. Oh boy! I should have known to check my order before leaving. We get home and I open my meal to find one 6" kebob. They had forgotten to give me the rest of my meal. I paid $12 for a meal that had six pieces of petite sized shrimp and cut up green bell peppers. My husband opened his container and revealed a burger that you get in a kids meal! His substituted chips were half-cooked. Actually everyone's chips were half-raw. I am not going to go into detail with the black hair we found ( those pictures I am giving to the health department) * note we all have light color hair* but I was completely disgusted and 100% livid. I called the restaurant three times before someone answered and asked to speak to the manager. I am positive the manager was the bartender and all she could do was give me a free appetizer for the next time. Yeah, like I am really going to return for round two of disgusting food and unprofessional service. As a local and liaison for tourist, I will be sure to guide them away from this horrible excuse of a restaurant.

Our restaurant is seasonal, opening May through September.
One bartender to service 50-75 people. Long waits for drinks. Bartender not smiling...I guess I can see why, but we felt like we were inconveniencing her. Angry people on each side of the bar.
