Really good Mexican food. If you go you have to try the guacamole made right at your table. It's delicious and made fresh! Our server was very friendly and made our visit special. They have outdoor seating which was really nice. They also make tastey beverages!

We stopped here on a recent Saturday night. We were seated immediately. They have a very extensive menu with an emphasis on Southwest cooking. My wife ordered the prime rib fajitas and I ordered a special “3 for Me” (appetizer, entrée and dessert). Our drinks came promptly as did the appetizer (chips and salsa). The chips were crisp but very greasy. My wife really enjoyed her fajitas and my burger was very average and it had too much mustard on it. We finished our meal and were waiting to order dessert but our server seemed to have disappeared. Finally, a manager came over and asked if everything was OK. I told him we still had a dessert coming and he said he would take care of it. We waited another 15 minutes before getting the dessert and then waited again for our bill. The food was decent and after a good start our service went straight downhill. It will be a long time before we come back here.

Uncle Julio's

We decided to give Uncle Julio’s a second chance. Brought 2 friends with us this time. Table side guacamole was great, but that’s about it. I know it’s a national chain, but they have no decent brandy. Margaritas were good. Our friends had fajitas and didn’t care for them. My husband and I split Juanita’s plate and finished maybe half of it between us. Just not a good taste. Since we told the server we were splitting the dish, we asked for a second plate. We were given this tiny appetizer plate. Asked again and got a larger version of the tiny plate. The third request, we got a salad size plate. I actually would call this Tex-Mex and not Mexican. A true Mexican restaurant would have moles. This place does not. We won’t be going back.
