We were out for a Sunday drive and decided to stop for dinner.I've heard good things about their fish fry, but it being a Sunday, we tried something else. My husband had a burger, which was very large! Plenty of fries too.I had the chicken fingers with sweet potato fries. I really thought my meal was very good. I know, I know - chicken fingers right?! Well these had plenty of flavor to them. I liked them. The sweet potato fries were really good too.I thought the restaurant was pretty dark for a late summer afternoon, a little on the depressing side. Really could use some brighter lighting......Service was good - staff friendly. Good food. Decent prices.Thanks for taking the time out of your schedule to leave us this review! We will definitely be passing your compliments on to our staff. We have visited this establishment for lunch on several occasions. The burgers are traditional and inexpensive. There are not a lot of "lunch people" there. My guess is this is a bar where "everybody knows your name". We were not treated poorly, just not like "regulars". I wouldn't recommend the place, but I wouldn't stop someone from going as long as they understand it is a drinking bar first with food as an afterthought.

Tasty hamburgers with a variety of toppings and cheeses. Not fancy, just very reasonable prices for food that you can't get just anywhere. Waitress was pleasant and efficient. Big burgers (probably 1/2 pound), good fries, decent fountain coke. I am anxious to take my wife here for her opinions.

The breakfast is really good. at the restaurant. We enjoyed it each day while we stayed at the Rodeway Inn in Beloit. We ate dinner here several times, as well. It is very family friendly with specials, kids menu and a good weekend breakfast buffet. Seems to be a favorite of the locals, too.

We were a group of four. Two of us had the pulled pork. It was delicious....it came open faced topped with moist and tendor pork. Delicious bbq flavor. I had a side of apple salad. Apples, nuts in a creamy sauce. We loved this meal. The other two had a burger and wings. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The bar itself is clean, friendly and of course had tv's... we loved watching the men's Badger basketball game.

My husband and I ate at this restaurant because it was close to our hotel. The restaurant had lots of room so we were seated quickly. The food itself was not as good as I have had at other Applebee's. I had the Asian chicken salad and it had way too much dressing. My husband had the zesty chicken burger with the sauce on the side. It was a good thing he did this because he said the sauce was not good and way too spicy. The rest of the burger was good.There is plenty of parking around the restaurant. It is off a major street so easy to find.

We eat here regularly for lunch. Service in the area is slow everywhere when compared to other cities you visit. No exception here. However, the staff is friendly and efficient and they don't ignore you when they walk by to service another table. They are trying local talent during the nighttime hours and recently tried country. Usually it is a jazz or rock bar. Typical pub food, but they do a nice job with stuffed burgers and salads. Try the sweet potato fries to save some calories.

We had an average meal -- mediocre steak and a decent chicken breast. But our server, Aimee, was super. She was efficient, pleasant and delightful to talk to. Made the meal very enjoyable. Restaurant was across the parking lot from out hotel, so that was convenient.

Traveling from MN to GA and read the review so decided to find it. Love the downtown of Beloit. Buildings all well kept. This restaurant was hopping. We were able to sit outside and enjoy a beautiful summer evening. Food and service were great.
