We love coming here, we go several times a year. The pizza is great, nice and thin as far as the crust. The double-dipped garlic bread cannot be beat!!!the only down side is that I don't think they have the best wine list.

A gentleman who was on Miller Park tour with us recommended Mamma Miaâs and we werenât disappointed. Hubby got the lunch buffet which includes their famous garlic bread, a couple different types of pizza, soup, salad, lasagna and spaghetti with your choice of sauces. I got build your own pizza, fantastic! Service was excellent

Eating at Johnny Vâs Classic Cafe in West Alice. $14.99 for all this(see photo), the Filet Mignon includes choice of potato($1.50 extra for sweet potato fries) and choice of house desert! Drink is extra. The mushrooms where really tasty with a garlic seasoning and the steak came rare instead of medium as I requested but they took it right back and cooked it to perfection! The restaurant was very busy at about 6:30 PM Saturday which is a good sign but the food came very fast, 10 minutes tops! Johnny Vâs has a Coke decor theme throughout. Even a Coke , Toot! Toot!

The atmosphere is slightly more upscale than its sister restaurant on 68th and Wells, with discreet service and heavier flatware. The food is well prepared, though sometimes a tad heavy on the butter. The portions are Milwaukee-style large, and friendliness prevails. Plus you never feel rushed when lingering over coffee and dessert. A good place to bring a Valentine's date!

Ordered Filippo's on a friday night and wanted delivery which they said would take an hour+. Pizzas arrived in 40 minutes, that's great service! Their cheese garlic bread is thick cut Italian bread with generous amounts of cheese and delicious. Their pizzas have a great house crust which is a little thicker, it is excellent. They also offer a thin crust, but we prefer the thicker. Toppings were plentiful and they use a sweeter pizza sauce that is excellent. Great overall meal!

We drove over because of some recommendations. This is a classic Italian neighborhood restaurant. To me that means it has a lot of customers who absolutely love the place and others who don't understand.Good pizza, and the Italian Nachos are also worth a look.

What a treat to find this family owned Italian restaurant on a snowbound visit to Milwaukee. Even though it was busy we were welcomed by a friendly hostess and seated almost immediately. Our waitress took very good care of us. We loved their baked french onion soup and the thin crust pizza was amazing.
