Pizza Man

This restaurant is a Milwaukee classic, recently new to the Oak Creek area. This pizza is strictly what you personally prefer, by that I mean. If you grew up earing this, you'd enjoy it. I personally don't find anything special here, and is quite overpriced for what you get. It's a cute, urban type of place, but I prefer good food over atmosphere. Milwaukee in general has many better places to pick from.

My husband, son, and I all liked it. There is a good selection of food; you can order specialty pizzas and also you can add or omit toppings from those, or create your own pizzas. We all got the 11 inch. You can add as many toppings as you want and the price doesn't go up. That's what we really liked. You tell them what you want, they put it in the pizza oven, and about five minutes later they call you to come get your food. Fountain drinks are around $2 but it's serve yourself and we each got a few refills so it was worth it. They had Coke products and a few iced teas and lemonades. We all liked the food and the atmosphere as well. There were a lot of people in there but it didn't feel crowded. A decent total price for the three of us.I saw a woman with a salad and it looked pretty big.

This restaurant is in less busy area on Rawson in between Howell and Pennsylvania. The prices are the most reasonable I have seen in a family restaurant. The soup and meals are homemade and very good. I love the chicken dumpling soup. Also, it is almost impossible to get jumbo shrimp, but this restaurant has it! Most places serve the butterfly style. Excellent!!!

If it wasn’t for the cheese and sauce, I would have thought that UPS delivered a package and I mistakenly started eating the box. This was almost the worse pizza I have ever had. The crust literally tasted like thick pressed cardboard. I should have known from the moment I stepped foot into the dirty and nasty closet that they call a waiting room. I should have turned right around and went somewhere else. However, I thought I would give it a chance. BIG mistake!!! I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone ever!!!

I ordered a pizza for delivery from Pizza Hut. The crust had the taste and texture of cardboard, in addition to being greasy, and the toppings were non-descript and tasteless. I will not order from them again.

The food at Papa Luigi's is generally all good. The pasta dishes are pretty average in flavor and the portions are big like you would expect a family Italian place. The Sicillian Garlic Bread is fantastic. The Chicken Parm is good. The Chicken Marsala and Primavera were only so-so when I tried them. I tried the Spedini special once and was quite disappointed. Pizza is pretty good. My husband has tried some of the seafood and said it was good. He loves the clam chowder. The service ranges from good to terrible. When the place has been busy serving large parties we've experienced some very very long wait times for service and food. Now when I walk in I try to gauge what's going on and once or twice when I've seen a big party and we've gone somewhere. When the service is good, it's efficient and what you would expect it to be. The bartender is one of the most chipper women I've ever met. What keeps us coming regularly to this place that has average food and service is that the kids love it. Our kids love spaghetti and all things Italian, but they also love the giant stuffed polar bear, the video games and pool and the bowling. It makes for a good family night out to have dinner and then go bowling.

We stopped in for lunch. Only one table of local people just drinking coffee and talking. We didn't want pizza for lunch so I ordered a pizza burger because I haven't eaten one for a very long time. My wife ordered a regular burger. Each came with fries. My pizza burger was very large and good. My wife's cheeseburger was lacking flavor even after adding mustard (she had to ask for it).The fries were good. The girl server's attitude was like she was just doing her job and not particularly friendly.Food delivery came in a reasonable time and was hot.I wish we had tried their thin crust pizza, perhaps a higher rated review could have been given.

Trattoria Di Carlo Pizzeria

Reviewed By panielsen

This place is now off our list as we have had only one good meal in the five times we've been here. The Cubano Panini was very dry and the bread was more like a grilled bun than a nice crisp panini. It did not have the Dijon mustard on it and pork slices were too thick while the ham was barely there, flavorless. The Italian Beef sandwich too, lacked flavor in all aspects and again very dry dispite having some grilled onions and peppers on it, there was no juice and they forgot to put on the Giardiniera so I had to ask for it, waiter obliged. It is a beautiful place and service has been good. The menu is large, prices comparable to others but the quality is just not there. I'm Italian and have had much better elsewhere.
