We visited on a quiet Thursday evening. I ordered toasted cheese and soup. The sandwich was good, but would have been better with less cheese. Great soup. The service was excellent. The ambiance was noteworthy.

Stopped in mid week for lunch. We came in and there were only 1 other couple of locals sitting at bar talking to bartender. Bartender seamed mad we sat at bar and interrupted their gossiping. She took our drink order- coffee and a crandberry vodka. She said it would be a while as she would have to brew my coffee. Poured a whiskey cranberry and walked past coffee pot to return to her gossiping. Never brought menus we asked for so we got our own. Decieded on our food and closed our menus and waited. And waited. When she could not be bothered to stop talking even after making eye contact we got up and left.We had been here many times. The food is iffy at best. Usually the tots are good, as are the pizzas. Everything else is a gamble. We won't bother going here for food again. They do have a couple nice bartender owners and music on patio in summer is fun. But we will eat elsewhere.

we went to this restaurant while visiting relatives, Great food..my boyfriend & I ordered the bbq platter,,,loaded with fantastic variety of meats,,delicious..it arrived quickly..but the couple we were will ordered burgers,,,well an hour later still no burgers,,,we politely complained it has been a very long time,,1/2hr later still no burgers,,,ummm now we are getting a bit annoyed, the manager Justin ( I think his name was) gave us free drinks when we complained again about 2 burgers..10min later the burgers arrived,,Justin was very apologetic, sincere....their burgers were good. when we got the bill, Justin had removed the 2 burgers from the bill and presented us with a $20 gift card. That man did the utmost right thing in comping that meal, He went above and beyond and it would be nice to see more managers care about every customer and gives great public service. Thank you

We were in Minneapolis for the long labor day weekend to attend the MN State Fair and decided we needed a break so headed to check out Stillwell for the day/dinner. After spending the day at a local Stillwell winery/apple orchard/cidery we headed over to the riverfront. We originally were going to pick up dinner at a local "diner" and take it to another winery but once we arrived in Stillwell, we changed our minds and decided to have a nice sitdown dinner. We just stumbled upon Brick & Bourbon from the rear parking lot and entered thru their back door. We loved the inside - exposed brick, wooden floors, high ceilings and roof top dining. We were politely greated and directed to the front and asked if we had a reservation. We did not :( but they told us we would have a table in 10 min. It was a Saturday nite at 6PM and the restuarant and bar area were packed so I had my doubts. But low and behold we were directed to a table in less than 10 minutes (altho our table was just outside the kitchen door). Our server arrived quickly and was kinda pushy about cocktails but my husband already had made up his mind - bourbon/bacon flight - $19 for 3 different bourbons with 3 different bacons. He loved it! The menu was not clear which specific bourbon was the Japanese one since the distiller makes 2 so we asked the manager and he was no help, just guessed. It took awhile till she returned to get our food order. We waited about 15-20 min for our food to arrive which seemed reasonable based on how busy they were. My husband ordered the Next Day burger with fries which he enjoyed but wasn't anything exceptional. I thought my Duck Philly was unique & delish. I'm not into fries so our server talked me into "upgrading" to the crispy buffalo brussel sprouts and they were ok. Our server told us they were roasted but they were watery/soggy- becasue of the sauce. The Buffalo flavor was very subtle, almost too subtle and I didn't care for the watery texture. Overalll our meal was tasty (but expensive) and would love to return to try different items the next time I'm in MN. The manager told us they are opening 3 more locations in the next few months but all in MN. :(.

After biking the Stillwater area, we wanted to find a new place to celebrate our 38th anniversary. Dock Cafe was perfect! We got a table along the river on their patio. And the bottle of Reisling and the seafood entrees were very tasty! The free hot fudge sundae from our server really topped it off - since we love ice cream.

The food and service were both amazing! Everyone should be sure to check out the rooftop patio...it has a separate bar and food service available as well. This is not my first visit. We love Champs!Thank you hsbeachgirl for the great 5 STAR review and feedback! Nice weather like today and the roof should be open for the rest of the summer!

We dropped in here for dinner during a short vacation. Itâs a busy venue, with an open kitchen (which I like). Clearly a popular spot â crowded and somewhat noisy. My wife had a hamburger, which she declared delicious! Done to her specifications. I had Korean BBQ steak tacos, which were terrific. Korean chili paste provided lots of flavor and just the right amount of heat. The fries were flavorful â I had the rosemary flavored, which werenât a lot different from my wifeâs plain fries. But it was all good. And the service was good, despite the crowd. Lolo is a good find.
Stopped in for Sunday Bloody Mary's and they were Super. Super service, friendly WI bar. Has a fire station look to it.

We travel through Somerset regularly and usually dine at the Sportsman's for an early dinner or to pick up take-out. As mentioned earlier there are occasions where the female tending bar is polite but not welcoming; however, we've always gotten decent service, especially for a fairly quick turnaround from the kitchen. I've not been disappointed with anything I've ordered over the years. Our favorites are the patty melt, which my husband says is the best he's found. Also, the Chicken ranch sandwich and my favorite is the cat fish roll up.If you're ordering the onion strings, be prepared for a huge plate-full, even the half order is more than enough for 2 people.

The café was clean and comfortable. The menu is awesome. Something for everyone in your party. Not the usual menu choices, a good change from the norm. The kids liked the menu and food as well. The café was quite busy when we arrived and it took some time for a wait person, but once one came we were attended to with friendly and prompt service.
