Things to do in Saint Germain
We stop by Legends whenever we're up in the north woods. Friendly bartenders, cheap drinks, some local beers on tap, and a rotating collection of loud, drunk, friendly locals singing along with the blaring E-jukebox. We always arrive late and have some tasty, scalding fried mushrooms. There's a little-used pool table and some video games in the back as well. It's just a great little no-frills bar.

We discovered the Bear's Den by attending open mike on a Sunday evening night a few year's back and have returned every year since. Craig and his wife are very hospitable and serve a good meal. The Bear's Den also has very friendly bartenders. The fish fry is great and my sons enjoy the Kewanau Widowmaker and of course the Spotted Cow on tap. It is a friendly place and we have felt very welcome each year!! Kinda like Cheers up North;) Come Sunday night for open mike night!

Walk to Tbirds for a pizza and a beer. Pizza was thin and crisp. Good taste. We also had some cheese curds. Filled up. Beer was really cold. Great place to stop by. We will be back for sledding season.

Sisterâs Saloon is one of Saint Germainâs oldest establishments, offering some of the best food and drinks around! This business began life as the Peacock Lodge in 1922! The owner, Cherie âCher Bearâ Anderson is a Northwoods Native. She grew up in the Say
We had lunch here on our recent snowmobile trip to the area. As we no longer eat meat, sometimes dining in the Northwoods can be a challenge so was happy to find a veggie sandwich on the menu and even more happy with how delicious it was!!!!

Stopped here yesterday. The fish tacos are very good! Just the right amount of remoulade sauce on top and not to spicy. I'm not a spicy person. The sauce added just what the tacos needed. They also have a vegetarian quesadilla. My husband had the bourbon burger. He enjoyed his meal very much. You will need extra napkins for the burger.

We both ordered the 8 oz. Prime rib it melted in our mouth, it came with hor derve plate with carrots onion, black olives, and canned peaches, noticed many people didn't eat the peaches, might want to put dill dip instead., salad and potToe and bread which was great. We had their haystack onion ri gs were the best around. Our waiters as great! Will be back for sure! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Went for lunch, food prep was slow. Good burgers, fish fry fair, also wraps, wings, and pizza. Sports bar atmosphere (Chicago and Milwaukee) with TV's. Friendly service. Went back for late nite drinks too. Place a tad tough to fine, small driveway entrance on north side of 70, then turn north and go a block into woods. Worth it for lunch. Clean upper Wisconsin pub feel. Dress casual. Thanks for stopping in! We hope to see you again!

Walked into Blink Bonnieâs at 7:15 on a Thursday night prepared to wait two hours to be seated. We were told they were accepting no more names for the list. We headed to Fibberâs and we were seated immediately. I had the ribeye and it was a great steak!!! My wife had the broiled walleye. Great portion, cooked perfectly. Given that Fibberâs has way upped their steak quality, why sit around forever at BBâs? Youâll be happy, spend less and be out of Fibberâs in time to get some fishing in before dark.

Fantastic Old Fashioned's in a tub glass that would have made my dad proud. The cheese curds are average cheese curds that you can find anywhere but what sets these apart if the house made ranch dressing- wowza! Although we didn't get either on this visit, the Duck Wontons and the warm Krab Dip are worth diving into and shouldn't be missed. The Chicken Marsala is made with a velvety, smooth and creamy sauce. The Marsala flavor was delicate but present and served over a bed of pasta; the chicken was charbroiled and cooked nicely- all together it was delicious and decadent. My guy had the Tournedos- on the menu it said it was prepared with mushrooms, onions and garlic. What it didn't say was that it was also prepared with red wine...Tournedos can be prepared with a wide variety of sauces and to have this was a bit unexpected. Although the steak was tender, the red wine over powered the taste of the mushrooms, onions and garlic. He did eat a large portion but he didn't love it and would have ordered something else had he known about the wine. It's just not a flavor he cares for. (I tasted it myself and agreed with his POV- wine is all I tasted and in took over the entire dish). All that being said, Clearview is a wonderfully charming place, with fantastic service and good food. We only wish we had known about the wine in the preparation of the meat.

We came in on a Monday night and were happy to see the special was deep dish pizza. We had heard about this place from locals who raved about how buttery and crispy the deep dish was. I am not a deep dish pizza fan, but this one knocked it out of the park!!! Our group of 8 also had a regular pizza which was also good. For a Monday night they were busy! Sign of good food!
