Loved this place. Best fish fry around, best wine, and most awesome salads. Unfortunately they closed. They were leasing and the business agreement wasn't so agreeable.

We had tried to get into the Sobelman's on St. Paul several years ago, and the line for seating was out the door. A good sign! Although I'd heard Sobelman's was noted for it's great burgers, it wasn't until a friend told me they served a veggie burger that I suggested to my husband that we try the newer venue in Richfield. We used to dine frequently at the former Italian restaurant in this location, and the decor didn't seem to have changed much. In fact, there was a burger listed on the menu that commemorated the former establishment. My husband ordered The Loser, which besides the burger included cheese, bacon, and fried onions. He ordered fries as his side. The Loser didn't quite meet my husband's anticipation: he said the burger patty was not thick. It was dry, overdone, nothing special. I ordered the Veggie burger (of course) which was a black bean version served with tomato, lettuce, and onion. It was somewhat dry and really needed some kind of sauce. I had a side salad with Balsamic as my accompaniment. All in all, our experience was not what it was hyped to be. I'm not sure we'd return unless we had visitors whose fondest culinary wish was to eat at Sobelman's. Let me finish, however, with a compliment: Sobelman's serves an excellent jalapeno ketchup which appears to be their own brand. We both enjoyed that experience.

Richfield Roadhouse, in Richfield, WI, is the area's leading restaurant serving Richfield, Hartford, Menomonee Falls, Germantown and surrounding areas since 2016. We specialize in casual dining, homemade food, steaks, burgers, seasonal football and much m
Five of us went to a Friday afternoon movie in the 'Falls and we drove out to the Roadhouse for a Fish Fry. We got there about 4:30 so the dining room was almost empty. Our drink order was taken quickly and we then ordered food. One soup was Curried Chicken. Excellent. But I will admit that I like curries. The fish was good of course. I had the tots. Loved them. The place was getting crowded by 5:30 so we were moved along. No big deal, we were done eating and had a good visit with each other.

Seven friends meet annually to re-visit with grade school teacher from 60 years ago. Always arrive after noon rush hour. We take a room in the back, so we can reminisce over these long years. Sandwiches are great. Try raspberry iced tea. Try to save room for the best pies this side of Lake Michigan. Very busy place but service is way prompt.

The ribs are the best! Literally fall of the bone and very good BBQ sauce. Great fish fry too and shrimp too. Love the combo platters they offer. Prices are extremely fair. Oh, and don't forget the delicious homemade desserts! Always have good experience here. Just be sure to make a reservation, especially on a Fri or Sat night. It's a very small restaurant and also very popular so it fills up fast.

Historic building. Former mob hangout / bordello. Still a bullet hole in the wall purported to be from Frank Capone (Al's brother). Good food. Good service. Local charm. Daily specials...taco Thursdays. Incredible place to catch a Packers game...free shots after Packers TDs... a drinking game involving a rubber chicken. Good times.

We were traveling nearby and stopped for dinner. Nice atmosphere, with a wall separating the eating area from the bar area. Had good service throughout our visit. After reviewing the good menu selection, we settled on the four cheese lasagna and a hamburger on a focaccia bun. Both were tasty. We would definitely go back if in the area.

My family and I gave this place a try tonight after checking trip advisor reviews. Place has HUGE menu with many options. The fish fry was of nice proportions and the sides tasted great. My husband said the fish fry was among his top 3 that he has ever had. My son and I each had a burger and we were very satisfied. Just wish they offered different beer flight options. Our waitress was very nice and gave great recommendations. But oddly, waitresses around us seemed unhappy with one another or something. They'd talk near our table and then leave, passing our table saying something disgruntled under their breaths.

Come and visit this beautiful historic landmark! Built in 1880 Timmer's Resort was totally remodeled in 2008 to restore the original charm of this lakeside dining and cabin resort. Our beautiful lodge has fire places in each dining room as well as beautif
My husband and I have been to Timmer's about 4 times in the past few years. Its popularity has grown and it is now hard to get weekend reservations several days in advance. Last weekend, we were only able to get one of two last reservation times when calling on a Thursday for Saturday evening. Earlier in May, they were completely full several days in advance also. Our late seating time relegated our party of six to the bar area that was very noisy. It was sometimes difficult to converse with our friends at our own table. Two of our chairs were strategically located on cold air vents, but we compensated by placing the menu books over the vents so we did not freeze indoors. The wait staff here is very knowledgable, helpful, and efficient. Menu has been slimmed down a bit with new ownership. Nightly specials are still offered but several of our chosen items were sold out by our 7:30 seating time. Canadian walleye is now lightly breaded instead of sauteed with almonds as in past. Other variations abound.I wish that the restaurant would utilize the large empty room to the east for weekend seating, though perhaps it's not so convenient for the servers. There is a serious capacity problem at Timmer's now, especially on Friday or Saturday evenings, so while most of our friends can only go on the weekends, I'd prefer to return on a weekday evening for a quieter, more sane setting and menu items that are still available when we choose them.Food, what was available, was very good. Servers were most accommodating, but small things like sold-out menu items, luke-warm--not hot--coffee (even after requesting a warm-up), and noisy ambiance caused the experience to be less than stellar. We had entrees at $32 and $31, & 1 dessert & coffee for $9 =$72 before tax and tip. No drinks this time. Entrees include soup or salad and a vegetable.

Went to a dog show at the Washington County Fair grounds, and decided to take back roads home, we were hungry and spotted a roadside bar and grill and decided to stop. Doman"s busy, the Bar was almost full, the seating area was 3/4 full, and their banquet area also had something going on. Service was fast and excellent, we had or beverages with in 5 minutes, and or burgers shortly after, the food was fantastic, the employees were friendly, and the service was fast, I would definitely recommend Doman's for a great place for Pub Food
