Lots of food for a good value. The hostess kept telling everyone how busy they were in a way that made you want to leave and go somewhere else. Our waitress kept forgetting things and we had to ask twice for each request. Had she been a good waitress, we wouldn't have had to ask at all. However, that being said, the food was excellent. We had breakfast for lunch. Large portions, all homemade, Would go back any time.

The food was great and loved the homemade Mazzarella sticks. The fresh Raspberry with the cheesecake was great and tested great.

Got the Mushroom and Gruyere Omelet. Maybe the best Iâve ever had. Got side salad, which may have been even better! My friend had the Blackened Shrimp Salad and it rocked too. Love Hollander!

Just a little bit of NOLA in the middle of the frozen tundra. We specialize in great cajun and creole cuisine, amazing craft cocktails, and phenomenal service. Like they say in the quarter, "laissez le bon temps rouler!" or "Let the good times roll!"
Crawdaddys was our favorite restaurant from way back when it was on greenfield av. We were excited to see it back open. When we arrived the restaurant was completely empty. Which was odd to us but it was early so we did not think anything of it. We then looked at the menu. They had many changes to the menu and many items on the menu are not cajun. We ordered crab cakes which were obviously frozen and were like hockey pucks. My husband ordered brisket. It was supposed to be slices and it came out in chunks. It actually looked like tofu. It was not good and he ate two bites and we paid and left. We will never be back and do not think this place will stay open long. Too bad as they had a good thing before going under new ownership.Sherry, the original Crawdaddy's you were so fond of will be re-opening soon on 96th & National. You can visit us on Facebook at Crawdaddy's Roadhouse.

We have eaten at West Allis Cheese Shop many times and I have been very remiss in not reviewing this wonderful establishment. The format: Order and pay at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. Coffee top-ups are done at your table also. The people are friendly and the food is both very good and a bit eclectic. This time, my wife ordered the breakfast sandwich and I had the Cheezy Joe. Both sandwiches were very good and arrived not too long after we chose our table. The coffee at West Allis Cheese is also good.Prices are reasonable--$8-$11 for most menu items.

I come here fairly frequently and I am always impressed with the experience, food and service. Since the change in ownership, things have only gotten better. Preserve the traditional menu items and update those that could use it. Best atmosphere in town.

BOTTLE: A wine shop with interesting and hard-to-find wines, growlers of draft beer to go, and regional and artisanal liquors. An restaurant and bar with an award-winning wine list with unbeatable prices. Kitchen: A unique restaurant cooking food inspired
We enjoyed the food and specialty cocktails. They were well prepared and in many cases unique to Story Hill BKC. I would have given this review 5* but for the prices. We travel all over the US and Europe, the prices frankly were very high for the quantity of food on the "small plates". Much as I enjoyed it, I won't make the personal choice to go there again. We're very sorry to hear our unique and well-prepared food and cocktails did not represent a great value. We'd like to know more about what you had, so that we can make sure we can make sure our menu always presents a good value for the quality, and we'd like to invite you back to Story Hill BKC. Love, love those oysters. Three sources on this visit. All delightful. Properly chucked and served quickly on ice. Cocktail sauce was a little thin. Too much ketchup not enough chili sauce. Horseradish was freshly shredded. Wine list was well-thought out. Prices were reasonable. Range of choice was terrific. Odd to serve the sparkling Cava in a white wine glass. The pettillance had no starting point unlike in a fluted glass. I had the crabcake (2) platter with red beans/rice, cole slaw and sweet potato fries. All very good. My only complaint was that the cakes were deep-fried. Very dark color. The breading was only on the outside so the crabmeat was ultra moist. Not very hot either. I would have preferred it sautéed. Beans and slaw were perfect. My nephew had the Frogmore stew. The broth was on point. Andouille slices with stewed mussels and chicken. Great toast points to soak up the broth. Five stars!A side of grits and light brown gravy was superb. The third entree was buried in dirty rice. A melange of NOLA favorites. She loved it. For dessert we tried the Coca-Cola cake and salted caramel bread pudding. Five stars. Drink service was slow to irritating. They are losing money on this aspect. A second bartender would pay for itself in an hour. Our server was Mike. Friendly and knowledgeable, he was always asking to be helpful.

Stopped in for breakfast on a staycation in the Milwaukee area. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Also, the portions were huge!! If you go, try the the chorizo sausage gravy and the fresh fruit.
