We went for the Friday Fish Specials and came back the following Saturday for Steak. This is a Classic Rural Wisconsin Supper Club!!! Wait staff is seasoned and knowledgeable. Had the Walleye special which was awesome and cooked perfectly. The tenderloin was done perfectly and the sinks were reasonably priced and very good. You can sense that this is a local place and has a regular clientele. We will be sure to visit on our next trip to the Shawano Clintonville area!!!

This place is a must as there are so few places with outside seating on the water in the Shawano Wisconsin area. If you go for the food, you are totally nuts!!!! It is a fun place to have drinks with friends and the outside seating is first come, first serve. If you want to eat healthy, good luck!!!

This is a restaurant that has seen better days. The service was average at best and quite slow. Took my grand children as I thought it would be better than fast food. Grand sons pancake was cold and I'd recommend not going on Saturday morning like we did. My omelet was rather average or below average and nothing special. Probably won't be back as we found better local breakfast spots in Shawano.

Beginning our adventure to try Supper Clubs throughout Wisconsin. We loved Torch Lite. Friendly bartenders and waitresses. Ordered a Cosmo and my friend thought it was a little sweet. The bartender came over and asked how she liked the drink, when she told her it was a little sweet, the bartenderImmediately made our friend a new one without us even asking. The waitress was honest with us about the gnocchi, so donât order them. The walleye, tenderloin and scallops all were so good. Loved the salad bar selection. We had a birthday in the group and they brought out a yummy cream puff with a candle on a chocolate decorated plate. The others had scrumptious grasshoppers and brandy Alexanderâs. We will definitely return again!!

This used to be my favorite place to stop for a burger when I came home to Shawano. Now I know that the Launching Pad has undergone an ownership change recently, but I was hopeful that things would not change. During my last stop here, the Gueths family was preparing to turn things over to the new owners (they also own Luigi's in town) and was told that they were leaving behind the recipes for them. After some ice fishing, my friends and I stopped in for something to eat. For some strange reason, there were these gaudy white mini Christmas lights strung back and forth along the ceiling tiles. The place looked more like a strip club or a sleazy downtown bar than a local small town favorite.I ordered my standard small hamburger with fried onions. The basket came and I immediately noticed that the edge of the top bun had a red mushy spot. I also noticed the burger itself was significantly smaller than it had been on my previous visits. I pulled off the blood soaked portion of the bun and took a bite. Sadly it wasn't the same taste either. Not sure what or why this occurred, but this won't be my "go to" stop anymore.Hopefully they do something with the parking lot drainage problem.

Went on a Saturday and the place was packed. Bartender was super efficient and gave us great service. My son and I had the Fish and Chips which was delightful. The service was incredible and the staff was super friendly. The two owners both stopped by and said hello and inquired how everything was and we could see that this is their fourth summer at this location and how they will do incredibly well in an area with few good options. We are meeting friends today which says volumes on how we think of this restaurant. 5 Stars!!!Thanks for taking the time out of your schedule to leave us this review, Rockydogz1! We will definitely be passing your compliments on to our staff. We are so glad you dined with us, and it will be our pleasure to serve you again soon so you can try more items on our menu and let us know your thoughts.

We stopped and were glad we did. This place was nice inside and we thought we'd just stop and find a bar burger but were welcomed to pit smoked barbeque. Service was very good and the bartender was well-versed in what they had to offer. I had the ribs and they were average, in-fact I think they'd been re-heated a few too many times and were dry and unappealing (I'm from Memphis though LOL). However, the pulled pork my significant other ordered was outstanding. Not sure if they make their own cole slaw or not, but it was also very, very good. I'll be back, just not for ribs ... that said, I hope they read this review and change the way they prep them because with some simple adjustments they could make those work too. We were very happy that we stopped and although not perfect ... it's a good spot working hard to offer something of quality!!

Casual to fine dining. Nostalgic Rock n Roll atmosphere. Full bar with homemade old fashioneds and $2 happy hour. Appetizers, specialty sandwiches and full dinner menu served until 10pm. Live music every weekend. Large group reservations appreciated.
We were there on a Saturday night at 6:30 and ordered the prime rib special. The waitress returned after we ordered to say they had no rare pieces and only 2 mediums left. We accepted those but when they arrived they were well done and you could barely get a knife thru it. Very dry and a after taste of garlic. The salad and onion soup were fine and we had hummus to start that was good. They did offer us free dessert which we just didn't want but they did take $10 off our bill. The service was often and friendly. Others in our group enjoyed their tuna and salmon. Maybe the special wasn't our best choice!

Diner with counter service. If you don't like seeing the kitchen where your food is made, this is not the place for you. The interior is very tired and I'm pretty sure the soda dispenser is older than me. Breakfast was okay.
