Met a friend here for dinner. Waitress was pleasant and came to our table to refill glasses and take order. No problem with the server we had. The problem was the food.We both ordered the same thing which was the sirloin steak with 2 sides. The steak was just okay, the two sides were pathetic. The potato was not quite cooked as it was a tad hard yet. I asked the server if the green beans were fresh and she said yes, but what we got were cut in small pieces and definately out of a can. So much for fresh or from scratch. My friend agreed with me that we will not be back ever.

Visiting my son and daughter in law for moving weekend. They wanted to share this place as it's a favorite of theirs. I can see why, friendly staff, great atmosphere and amazing food. We ordered the Lamb Meatballs as a treat, unique and delicious; sauce is a bit on the hot side but highly recommend. Our pizza's for the evening were the Mushroom-White Pizza and the Meat Lovers. Both were delicious in their own way, sausage was great, again highly recommend. Crust was awesome just a bit burnt on some edges. Thanks for making dinner with family great, we will be back!!

We like the road kill and burgers. Side salads and sweet potatoes are great. Peanuts are fun and rolls are delicious. Waitstaff are friendly and efficient. Often busy so waiting for a table is sometimes a long time. If you want a quiet dinner this isnât a choice for you. Itâs noisy with loud music and birthday celebrations.

My spouse and I went to this restaurant for Motherâs Day dinner. We didnât get very far into our dining-out process, before we left due to poor service. We both ordered a soda...and they both tasted heavily of soda water (no syrup in the drink). When our server returned, I told her âthis kinda tastes like there isnât enough syrup in itâ. She replied with a terse âthey just changed itâ, and we could feel the iciness in her personality. I APOLOGIZED to HER since I felt bad asking for a different soda. Why did I apologize to her? Because I felt incredibly awkward in this situation. I was just asking for a drink that tastes as it should, and we got a standoffish response from her. I tried to let it go. She brought out a new set of drinks and said she got them âfrom a different gunâ. As the server walked away, my spouse took a few sips and then looked at me in a way I knew it wasnât good. I tried my drink, and again it tasted like soda water. Yuck. I placed my glass on the corner of the table, away from me. My non-verbal way of trying to say âthis still doesnât taste goodâ. When she came back she said âitâs not better?â I cringed and said âno, not really, it tastes like soda water stillâ. Instead of apologizing, she quickly said âcan I get you something else?â I only drink *one* flavor of soda, and if thatâs not available, I drink plain water. So thatâs what I ordered, because thatâs what I wanted. When I said âa water would be greatâ, she said âwe have lemonade, root beer (and other choices I canât remember)â I responded that water is fine. The server came back for a third time, this time with my glass of water. She set it down on the table and kept going...like a drive-by. Again, no apology for the issue with the soda tasting like crap. Nothing said like âhere is your waterâ. Nothing. I felt like I was a thorn in her side, because THEIR soda tasted horrible. I couldnât imagine tipping this lady anything, what with the horrendously rude service on Motherâs Day. I made the decision to go to the bar and see if we could get our order to go instead. Iâd rather eat back at the hotel (around the corner from this restaurant) than deal with this unpleasant lady. At the bar I was trying to ask the bartender if I could get our order to go instead. As I was explaining the situation, the same server came up on my side and put her face right into my personal space and asked âis something wrong??â It felt incredibly uncomfortable to have her face so close to mine. I didnât want a confrontation, since I was already on the verge of tears from feeling as though *I* did something wrong by bumbling out âthe soda kinda tastes like there isnât enough syrup in itâ. I didnât want a confrontation at any point with her, and I didnât make one. I was simply asking for a drink that tastes good, or at least how it SHOULD. Meanwhile with the serverâs face in mine, I answered her question with ânope. Happy Motherâs Dayâ and we left. Iâm not going to get into it with a person who clearly wanted NOTHING to do with giving positive customer service. I felt unwelcome and like I was being so rude for stating the truth, that the drink was ick!!!I canât recommend this place to anyone that wants a pleasant experience. I hope this lady was just a bad egg, but who knows. The whole place could be full of toxically rude servers who donât know how to be nice to customers.

We were not thrilled several years ago- but we decided to try it again. Went for an early Sunday dinner about 4 pm. Our waitress was pleasant, but downhill from there. The country fried chicken was very hot, however the mashed potatoes and corn were room temp. My hubs meal was all lukewarm. Our meals came out quickly, so it is not like they sat in the kitchen. We do not send back meals, we just choose other places to eat going forward.Hello, I am sorry to hear about your last two visits. We take pride in our award-winning restaurant and it sounds like your meal was not up to our typical standards. I have shared your feedback with our culinary team so they are aware and can make adjustments. Thank you for dining with us and bringing this to our attention.

I came in on a Friday night. The place was packed. We expected to wait.. which we did (if you do t expect to wait you, I'd suggest going somewhere else on a Friday.. no one wants to go somewhere that isn't sought out) The entire staff was smiling and extremely friendly. (I recognized most of the staff, I like how the employ within the community) The drinks were strong and the fish was hot. We won't go anywhere else.

We had hash and a benedict. Both very good. Hash could be served with toast points or biscuit to savor the delicious liquid. But $5 mimosas are the best! Very reasonable pricing for brunch (ordered from individual brunch menu). We will be back!
