This bar/restaurant was a pleasant surprise. A friend recommended we go for drinks. Looking at the place from the outside, I was not sure I wanted to go in. Once inside, we ended up staying for not just drinks, but dinner as well. Bartenders were extremely helpful and friendly. Drink choices were many, from beer to mixed drinks. Their Dragon Lemonade was my fav. Food was very good. I had a burger and potato wedges, and the wedges were the best Iâve had. I will definitely return!

We had made a reservation and were seated immediately (it was a Monday evening). I had a huge onion soup and a 10oz prime rib that had very little fat on it while my wife and our friends all had the petite filet. My wife and I shared carrot cake for dessert.

After a long drive north from Milwaukee we stopped at Friar Tuck's in FDL for dinner. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table. It was 4 pm! Granted it was Friday pm and people in the area love their Friday night fish fry. The haddock fish fry was delicious, served piping hot, with great rye bread and coleslaw. They even had complimentary cheese, sausage, salsa appetizers for Happy Hour. The service was fast and waitress great. We loved it and will make an effort to stop again when in FDL.

Plenty of seafood on the menu to choose as you sit among tired pirate themed atmosphere.Food is typical seafood menu. Surf and turf options along with basic seafood dishes.The main attraction is the salad bar.There are quite a few toppings to see and fish out to put on your plate.Service is friendly and was speedy the Monday night we were there. Not many people were there that night so service was perfect for our larger group.Drinks were ok and double bubble so 2 for the price of one during the 5 o'clock somewhere happy hour timeframe.Salmon was over cooked but did have a great flavor.Bread loaves served with meal. It was OK as well.Nice location near Lakeside Park so nice to enjoy a summer evening very close to Lake Winnebago.

I've been going here for years with a friend. We try to go once a week. I always get the salmon which is simply excellent and at a very fair price. We have always had friendly and fast service. The servers tend to get to know us after a while and we get treated well. A perk of a local, small town business.

We love Sweet and Salty Pig. We frequently have lunch at this establishment and dinner a few times. Their regular menu is delicious as are their specials. They do an amazing job of putting food together that most would not think to do and it turns out amazing. This is exactly what we love about them. Not your regular boring menu items. Something to look forward to for those of us who could cook on our own but opt to eat out on occasion. I like to be impressed and they do it often. My only wish is that they had more gluten free options fir both the regular and special menu's. Please consider adding more for those of us who love your restaurant and need those options. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch and dinner

I went to eat breakfast at Schreiners by myself. The hostess is very friendly when she seats you. The resturant atmosphere is very relaxing. The waitress was very helpful and polite. The food was warm and delicous. The price of the food was very reasonable. They had many customers eating breakfast when I was there. I would recommend Schreiners to other people.

Delicious hot food. My favorite dish is the steak Oscar. Excellent steak and perfectly prepared black tiger shrimp. Best bread pudding you have ever had. My lady and I eat there a lot. We had a bad experience the last time we went. Everything was underspiced and not up to the usual standards. We coughed it up to the cook maybe having a bad day. We are going to give them another try and hope they have returned to their normal standard of excellence.The advantage of being an active proprietor is I'm usually on the property. So sorry we missed the mark, I would have preferred to fix it during your visit than after, but my team never mentioned your comments - please know you can always ask for Dave. I was with a large group of friends traveling through the area and we were looking for a place for a quick lunch. One of the members of my party called ahead and they were able to accommodate us on short notice. Luckily for us the weather was nice and we were able to dine on their patio. The restaurant is located near the lakefront which added to the ambiance. I didn't have much of an appetite but thoroughly enjoyed my bowl of cream of chicken and dumpling soup. The rest of my party enjoyed their lunches as well. Service was prompt and we were back on the road before we knew it.

Went here while staying in Oshkosh for EAA Air Venture. I felt like I was eating in someoneâs house. However it was bustling and had a lengthy menu with unusual items. My entree was a cod bruschetta - fish with a bruschetta topping. There was a lengthy and varied beer selection. I chose a fruit beer which I regretted so the waitress changed it for me without fuss. The service was quick and very friendly. There was one exception - I would have given this place 5 had the young bus girl not delivered our meals by slamming them on our table with a really grumpy attitude.
