One of the southwest's unique restaurants, providing a mesmerizing interpretation of Arizona food. Discover a wonderful road restaurant as you travel Arizona and explore the renovated Fred Harvey Winslow hotel - La Posada.
We had both dinner and breakfast at the Turquoise Room, and it was fantastic. Dinner was the Classic Pepper Steak (Filet Mignon), which were excellent! Breakfast I had Baked Beef Machaca Chilequilles which were also excellent. Great flavor!
Wait staff was friendly, attentive and offered excellent recommendations. This is an outstanding place to eat.

Interesting old building with a big safe from when it was a jewelry store and a tin ceiling. Right across the street from Winslow's main attraction which is "standing on the corner". On the main street in old Winslow. Great spot for an after dinner coffee or ice cream. Several restaurants in the same block. the girl that waited on us was very nice.

This is just off the I 40 exit right next to the McDonald's just follow the signs to McDonald's and you'll find the location.
And I went in there this morning and I don't think they had their cuppa coffee with a better attitude there and it look like they weren't ready ready to open up the doors there's a Pacific time on the door you need to get there as the (owner) or employees)
So that way when you unlock that door you're ready to go you're ready for business not all I'm not quite ready yet it's not done yet are these excuses if that The items for sale coffee tea and pastries whatever you have in there if it's not ready to go you're not ready to open. End of story, House for the coffee and other items they are very good but you can definitely do without the attitude specially if you're on a road trip and all you want is a nice cuppa coffee or a little drink of some kind of a beverage you don't need the attitude to go with it but if you can handle all that then go right ahead and give it a try they also have Internet so you can use that, or if you totally unsatisfied any just don't want anything to do with it and you want consistency and consistent good tasting coffee just walked in a couple of feet right next-door to McDonald's what is consistently the same temperature the same taste in the same flavor 24 hours a day 365 days a year there's nothing better than consistency and any restaurant or beverage location consistency is the key and keeping your customers coming back over and over again once you lose consistency I'm gone.

A healthier side to Mexican food, this place does things differently. From Scratch, down home, Mom and Pops Mexican (Sonoran / Chihuaha style) food. This little quaint place, set right on the airstip, is run by a couple and there family. First founded in town with a little taco shop on 2nd street (Hillside taco stand) roughly about 11yrs ago has been a local staple thanks to the locals and tourists alike that come out and support. Everything is fresh with a quite a bit of selections. With a little Salsa bar that you can explore.
With all the rave reviews, I had high expectations for this restaurant. I wasn't disappointed, but it didn't meet expectations. Chips were good. Salsa was ok. Not impressed with salsa bar. Get the impression that the stuff has been there a LONG time. I had a chimi with carnita. It was good, but very little meat and a lot of tortilla. Husband had chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Bland. He also had soft tacos with shredded beef. Meat was good. Service was excellent. I'm a nut about cleanliness in a restaurant. This one was sub par. Weird hours.

Casual dining in Historic downtown Winslow on Route 66 just steps from that famous Standin' on the corner, corner. All our food is made to order, when you order it. All from fresh ingredients. Our burgers, steaks and chicken breasts are all flame broiled. All we serve is amazing, deliscious and will bring you back again and again. Our wait staff and support staff are second to none and the atmosphere is light hearted and pleasant. Come give us a try today!
We stopped here for a Navajo taco and we were not disappointed. We wanted different beans so our server recommended separate child servings. Wow, she was spot on neither of us could finish. They were wonderful!
We also tried the refried beans with green pepper sauce...OMG, this is wonderful! We finished this! (Could be why we didn't finish our tacos.)
The atmosphere is a little sparse, but prices are reasonable and service from Charlene was great!

Lunch and dinner for the family at low cost.
They were just opening when we arrived so the buffet wasn't ready yet. Ordered a salad and two medium hand tossed pizzas. The salad was ok, good dressing. The pizzas were both excellent. The service was friendly and efficient. We would go back if passing through the area again.

A guy at the nearby Meteor Crater recommended this place for lunch. It looked a little rough on the exterior but it seemed popular with local families inside. No diet food here...portions are large and the food is heavy. The green Chile enchiladas and chimichanga were delicious, as were the sopapillas. The beef tacos are different than what we were used to--they were thin hamburger patties--but they were tasty. The chips and salsa had a definite kick!
Service was efficient but a bit stern, and combined with the hard rock on the sound system, gave the place a bit of a roadhouse feel. Lots of families and local seniors were there, so it was very pretty tame.
I'd go back.

Had to take visiting stepson to go "Standin on the Corner in Winslow Arizona" while playing Take it Easy.
As per some of the other reviews, the town is staring to get a rundown look and feeling.
One of the shops recommended RelicRoad. We walked across and bellied up to the bar. There were two ladies standing there. I said hi to the one and asked if we could sit at the bar. She said sure. We waited and finally another lady waited on us. More of a smile and more talkative. Maybe it wasn't the other ladies area but at least say something other than 'sure' and then start playing with your phone.
We ordered beer and sandwiches. I had a traditional burger with fries and he had something Turkey with their famous spiral chips. My burger was good and he said that his sandwich was pretty good. The chips, not so much so. Cold on one end?
Here's my reason for the avg rating. The young lady that waited on us was pleasant and helpful. I did notice others waiting for someone to wait on them at tables. We saw a few people walk in an go back to where food prep was. They talked to the cook... for awhile. Maybe there was a reason but I thought that only food prep people were allowed. Very laid back attitude by most everyone.
There was a review about beverages being expensive. YES... So was the food.
Manager or owner needs to rethink what they are offering and also retrain the staff.
At least when we left, we did get a thank you and comeback to see us out of our waitress /bartender.
If I take more family there to see "the corner," I might stop or shop around.
Ps... another review said the outside of the place offered steaks but that there were no steaks on the menu... we didn't see any either.... maybe it was a lunch menu.

We both had Breakfast Burrito's. They were very large, and definitely delicious. The server was very nice and the service was fast. I was really impressed with their red/green sauces. They added a delicious flavor to every bit. Prices were very reasonable.
Las Marias is just a short walk from 'the corner', and worth every step.

So, apart from the title, I can't think of anything I'd recommend here. Ordered the chicken fried chicken based on the review from this site. It wasn't bad - just deep fried from the freezer. The mashed potatoes were from a box and the veggies were previously frozen peas & carrots. The gravy was probably a mix & didn't have any flavor. The place was run down, my seat split open, & no real decor.
