Solid food, good service. Food was fresh and the service is solid/great. Avoid the chain restaurants and eat at local places. I've had the breakfast burrito twice and it was just as good each time. The guac was fresh and had a little spice. So did the salsa. There are 4 of the places and Winemucca is the oldest.
Great mix of locals and people passing through.
The coffee is your standard diner coffee - not fancy, but coffee is bottomless and not burned/old/or bitter. Plenty of diversity on the menu from standard breakfast fare to some more creative variations. Haven't had lunch here yet, but I'm sure I will at some point. Drop in for a relatively quick bite and leave satisfied.

Stopped here on the way out and back for a weekend road trip. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service good. Looked like they had a public computer available. The lattes were decent, not too foamed-up since they were putting it in my travel mug for me, but not quite hot enough. Hubby said his coffee was acceptable, but nowhere near as good as he is used to (he's spoiled, but we like to be!).

Lunch is American with Basque Side Dish Daily. Dinner is tradition Basque Family Style with a full selection of Steaks, Lamb, Seafood, Pasta, Pork, and of course Traditional Basque. Dinner includes side dishes, soup, salad, glass of house wine, entree, dessert, or mix and match to suit your appetite.
We came to this restaurant because we wanted to experience a Basque meal. The food was delicious and quite different from the usual American food. However, the servings for two of us were huge . We would definitely recommend splitting an entire if you go...MoreThank you

The location is good on the west side of town. This is a grocery store and has everything you would expect to find. Watch for expiration dates on the prepared foods. Some of them came close and if you are stocking up for a week you will want the freshest possible. The prices were a little high for some items but the shopper should always beware. Parking is good and there are restaurants in the immediate area.

Several years ago, we happened upon this restaurant and it was delicious! A friend and I were traveling home to WY and we found it again. Had a delicious meal! Wish it was closer so we could go more often!!

Sandwich shop/coffee shop combo. Small space that is really cute. Also gift shop type items for sale. Menu was mostly sandwiches. They did have soup too. I was disappointed no salads. Got the 4 bean salad since it was my only choice. It was fabulous.

Wife and I visiting with dog. So took ribs, beans, salad, bread to go. I am a big pork rib fan and these were just average. Rub used not very flavorful, maybe add some brown sugar, cumin, to rub?? Wife did not like beans as they were watery and mix of beans and meat. Really wanted to love them but being fair, just average. Sorry gentlemen!!

I'm pretty particular about my pizza so I was pleased to find this place on my last trip through town. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. I had one of there veggie selections which was a great choice. I also had a good regional microbrew on tap. I'll going back the next time I'm in town.

Stopped in for a quick late lunch while passing through Winnemucca. The menu featured all the standard BBQ items i.e. puled pork, ribs, brisket etc. Service was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We ordered pulled pork sandwiches and cole slaw. Since I was driving, I passed on the beer which I really wanted instead of the diet cola. Anyway the food came out quickly and proved to be quite tasty. There is an array of bbq sauces of various styles and degrees of spiciness. I tried a bit of each, and liked them all. I would not hesitate to stop in any time I'm passing through.

We were in Winnemucca for an overnight visit and looking for a restaurant where we could have breakfast for dinner. Sid's was perfect. I ordered a vegetarian omelet and my wife had blueberry pancakes. Plenty of blueberries in the pancakes and plenty of vegetables in the omelet. The hash browns were cooked just right. The server was friendly, fast and knew the menu items well.
