My son and I just rated our dining experience at Bahbq one of the best we've ever had.The recommended deal is you pay $64/head - and you are continually served a gastronomic delight of what will probably be some of the most succulent meats you've every tased, with as many condiments and sides as you need. It's all there - chicken, pork, prawns, lamb, beef - I stopped counting after we'd been served over 10 different dishes in a row. If you want seconds (or thirds, of fourths) of any meat - or indeed the beans, spiced pineapple, cauliflower etc - you just ask.Sounds like a great place for gluttons(?) That's really not the point. This is about BBQ at its absolute best, and experiencing a range of flavours and textures - you just happen to be able to have as much as you want.Everything is prepared in an open kitchen, mainly on skewers. Once done, the servers bring the loaded skewer to your table (like immediately - nothing appears to be stored on warmers), explain what is being served, and either leverage one serving onto your plate (eg chicken wing, pork sausage etc), or alternatively carve the meat, with you using the provided tongs to grab the portion being cut to put onto you plate.For us nothing seemed to be too much trouble - everyone cheery and happy to explain what was being served, recommend matching condiments to meats, pose for photos - etc etc.Good range of beers, spirits and wines - by glass, carafe, or bottle. Really enjoyed having the Argentinian Malbec.I can't pick the accents - but most involved seemed to be South American, if not indeed Brazilian. This just adds to the authenticity. Chef delighted to pose for a photo next to my son in his kitchen - and appeared genuinely appreciative of the positive feedback that we gave.Based on the cuisine this is obviously not for everyone - but if you enjoy well cooked meat, you're happy to go on a tasting journey, and you appreciate good friendly service this is absolutely a must try for you!

We had an ordinary meal but I think it wouldâve been better if weâd done the cook it yourself thing. Some of the dishes were just odd.....chilli chicken with melted mozzarella cheese topping. A forgettable meal.

We were looking for a reasonably priced restaurant/cafe near Roseville cinema. Not much choice as most eating places were not open for lunch.Cafe Saluto was open and it was pretty well patronised and for good reason! Good variety of food (eg pastas, sandwiches, hamburgers, cakes) at very reasonable prices, generous serving sizes and friendly staff! Winning combination!Will return!
