Clean, warm room, strange check-in
Reviewed By Mike MOverall, we had a fine stay. 2 rooms, 2 nights. Room seemed clean and bed was comfortable enough. Older heating unit was a challenge to regulate. I’d recommend having additional blankets available in the room, especially during the winter. Had a strange automatic light near the sink that turned on every time someone walked by, a bit annoying in the middle of the night. Ck in was outside through a small window. 35 degrees and raining does not make this a reasonable experience. 1st time in 20+ hotel nights (throughout California) during Covid that I had to do it for the outside. Breakfast was not offered.

Reviewed By jen1105During a road trip from Oregon to Southern California, my family and I stopped enjoyed our one night stay at The Old West Inn. Check-in was friendly and easy. I liked the laminate wood flooring, comfortable bed, and large flat screen tv. We would’ve taken advantage of the $5 breakfast vouchers for a nearby restaurant, but we started our drive early upon check-out. I will definitely stay at the inn if I’m ever again in Willits.

Overnite stay
Reviewed By Debra WWere in town for a graduation. The television didn't work and when we tried to call the office the phone didn't either. Called the office from my cell phone and the clerk came to the room however he couldn't get it to work either. We asked for a credit when checking out and the clerk said she would have to check with the owner, who was on the premises. Over $190 for the night and no credit. Will stay at the Best Western next time we're in town.

Reviewed By Ceci415The grounds were well maintained and clean. I had a basic room which was nicer than I expected. Included a fridge, microwave, tv, table and chairs. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast offered was minimal. Overall I was pleased with my stay.

Reviewed By pattip488Stay away from this dump! I’d give zero stars if possible . After traveling 12 hours on my way to my Destiination, I needed to stop and sleep. No campgrounds were open a no legal place to park with my travel trailer so I checked in here. Fortunately, I was able to park my trailer right in front of the motel room door and after seeing the condition of the room, I slept in my trailer instead. Holes in every wall, broken light fixtures, broken toilet paper holder, soap dish was taped up in the shower stall, Artwork hanging down by one nail. I was too afraid to even pull down the bed covers. It’s stunk so bad of cigarette smoke inside and out? The front desk seemed baffled at this, but they lie. It appeared the room next to me had a permanent resident judging by the flower pots outside and chained up bicycles with flat tires. I think there’s a smoker in that room. I also believe they allow smokers in the room they rented me. A tiny room, one double bed and they charged me $130 plus tax! They are ripoffs and they don’t seem to give a crap about caring for their rooms!

Great price, very comfortable
Reviewed By 160marybethhLark motel was admittedly the least expensive of what was left at willits California's resort facilities. Once we arrived we noticed it is very clean and welcoming. The desk person was using covid protocols in order to give us our keys and check our reservation. He was very friendly, very courteous and very professional. The room is basic but it was very clean and actually had a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee maker. There were also soaps and shampoos available in the bathroom. Traveling during covid has presented many ways that motels are taking care of their guests but one of them has been to not leave a refrigerator, a microwave or a coffee maker. I felt more like covid was getting under control with these amenities in my motel room and I for one appreciate these amenities. Thank you Lark motel for a very restful sleep and an opportunity to reorganize before we travel on.

Reviewed By B3601GNfedericofthe place is very expensive, I stayed three days and they never cleaned my room. the room was dirty at first, the internet is super slow and the TV doesn't work. old and overgrown place.in the morning of departure the owner did nothing but ask me when I would leave the room even though check out was at 11.30
