We have gone to this restaurant several times. It seems to be a popular place to have a drink. The bar area was very busy and seemed like everyone knew everyone. The food has always been satisfactory. I wouldn't say it was superb, but it wasn't bad either. I haven't found that special dish on the menu yet.

Formerly known as Pop's Place, this restaurant has been renovated and recently reopened as "Pete's on Hwy 25".
We drove past this place for a few years before finally deciding to try it, even though it's only 15 minutes from home. What a pleasant surprise. Nothing fancy, but clean and having some of the best sandwich/basket food along with simple plate meals... cooked and tasting the way a lot of places used to do it. Brings back fond memories, and now we treat ourselves every few weeks to trying something different. Although it's hard to not want to reorder a burger or their flounder...and the onion rings are more than wonderful!

We visited this Williamston icon with friends who live in the area and were delighted with the atmosphere, the friendly wait staff, and the food. Wonderful ribs, brisket, and barbecue! The coleslaw and fried okra are not to be missed and you have a wide variety of sauces to dish on your entree. Endless refills for you drinks, always with a smile, from the wait staff. Definitely will get a return visit.

This is a great family restaurant with that family environment. Whether it's after the game, before church, or just when you get that craving for something simple, The Clock is perfect! FYI: They also have drive thru!

I’ve had the ribs, bbq, Brunswick stew and the brisket. Everything has been great. Very generous portions. They have 2 sauces and I like them both, but prefer the sweet. Best bargain and taste in the Anderson and surrounding area. By the way, I believe they have 5 trucks that serve as well as the restaurant.

Appears to be a family-owned Mexican diner. The service is quick and friendly. The free salsa w/chips can be had hot or mild...the hot was impressive. The menu is quite large for a small place and they do have beer, wine, and margaritas. All in all, I would say it's a decent value for quality/price and the portions have some folks taking home doggy bags. My chimichangas were good, but my wife's fajitas were great.

I recently ate lunch here while working in the area. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The lunch menu contained a good variety to choose from at good prices. The chips and salsa were served very quickly and both were excellent. My lunch combination included a beef burrito, refried beans and rice. Everything was well prepared and tasted good. Our server was very efficient and checked on us often. I was surprised to find this quality of food and service in such a small town. I'd highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and are hungry.

Just enjoyed lunch today. Chicken pot pie was the special...lots of chicken and gravy...could use a few more veggies.
Mac & Cheese side was definitely home made...nice crust on it...good cheese quality.
Pinto beans side was tasty with pity of juice.
Corn bread could have more flavor of corn.
Came with sweet tea.
All that and I was stuffed and only $5.98.

I found nothing here that I would go back for! Average southern food, many fried meats and meatloaf, meatballs. canned veggies in margarine. It's all you can eat for about $8. it's buffet with salad, which was the best food there, and a verity of desserts, which I don't eat. I would rather have food with flavor over quantity. I know that most local love this food!

Met up with a friend from Anderson here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. They have a lunch special $7.00 for sub, or sandwich with fries and beverage. The fries are wonderful. Have had the greek fries for $2 more, but prefer the regular fries. I had the Super Sub and my friend had the antipasto salad, which had the house made dressing (YUM!) on it. Both were delish! Place was clean, a bit dark. Food is fresh. Service is attentive. We will be back.
