Its location just 60 miles from the southern rim of the Grand Canyon makes Williams a popular stop for visitors to the natural beauty of Arizona. The historic Grand Canyon Railway makes it southern stop here, ferrying hundreds of thousands of tourists every year to and from the Canyon on its hundred-year-old steam-powered line. In the more immediate surrounds, the Kaibab National Forest and the Bill Williams Mountain area provide ample opportunities for camping, hiking and adventure.

Food was very good, large selection of good beers on draft, and service was absolutely perfect. We arrived around 8 pm and had to wait circa 10 min to be placed because location is famous and crowded. It’s worth it. We were four of us. Definitely advising to go to this place. No hesitation.

This place looked very nice at the beginning. Welcome was very friendly. Only 10 min to wait to be placed at dinner time “rush hour” in Williams. Lots of tourists! When we’ve been seated, an unfriendly waiter came to take care of us, or lets say trying to make this nice atmosphere become much more repelling. No alcohol! “This is no alcohol place Sir!” Alright, i am with my family of four and can easily skip my beer time tonight... no worry. However the waiter started to place another group to another table close to us taking their order without paying attention to us anymore... after 10 min, we decided to leave! It took probably him 10 min more to realize that we left... didn’t want to serve us... didn’t want to get served by him. That’s it! Thank you Sir, you made us go to another place where we left 5 stars rating.

Yes, they have a weird double door that is off-putting. However, we had the best hot chocolate in town I could find and I looked for a long time since my daughter was sick and wanted the real thing and not just the warm water with powder. I had delicious herbal tea - prickly pear.
The 17-year old server was very helpful and she was very patient with my 8-year-old who likes to ask a lot of question and who took the time to count the change we paid with.
We returned the next morning before driving on for a second round of hot chocolate.

I had heard a lot of nice things about this restaurant. I was not expecting fast service because we were a large group. They handled the fact that we were a large group without any problems, but certain dishes did take longer. I ordered fish and chips. The fish looked good, but did not taste fresh. It wasn't bad, just not as good as I had hoped. The potato wedges were warm but a bit overcooked. I will eat there again but won't get fish and chips again. They have a good enough reputation to give them another chance.

I was unimpressed by the coffee cake but the cinnamon buns were amazing. The service was excellent. The individual slices were packaged for travel and priced very reasonably.

Kicks is a bar and grille serving lunch and dinner along with Sunday brunch. With a wide variety menu, everything is made in house and locally sourced.
My husband ordered the steak stroganoff and my mom ordered the Turkey club. We ordered macaroni and cheese for our daughter and chicken strips for our son. I ordered their Southern Fried Chicken. For appetizers we ordered the Caprese salad and the crab cakes. The Caprese salad was 5 slices of tomato with 4 tiny slices of mozzarella and basil with balsamic glaze. For $14 they gave us two small crab cakes. The stroganoff was cold. My chicken was supposed to have a honey glaze on it and it was blinds without any trace of sweetness. The asparagus that came with my dinner was probably the only thing that was cooked properly and actually decent. they brought the kids is food after everyone else had already been given there's and forgot to bring the kids drinks Until all the food had already been given. In my last attempt to see why this place is so popular, I ordered creme brulee to go. I really wished I had not. As you can see in the picture of it I attached to this review, it looks like somebody scraped it into the container or dropped it. Do not eat here. There are many more choices 5 minutes down the road that don't charge an arm and a leg for tiny portions with tasteless flavor.

Strolled down the old route to have the typical Dairy Queen treat! The fact that it was an old school DQ on Route 66 was awesome. Other than that, same ol same ol, teenagers serving up deformed ice cream cones. What else is their to say?

Pet Friendly Patio
The place was busy late morning and we were made to feel welcome by the staff.
A good choice on the menu and not disappointed with the amount of food or the quality of the food served to us. Didn't have long to wait either although they were busy.
Would I go back? Yes.

This is a typical thai pop & mom restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient but very busy as she seems to do all the cooking as well. That's not the case and you'll enjoy the setting and home made cooking. The little daughter (3?) will charm you while you wait.

Historic Barrel + Bottle House offers 16 craft beer selections, local Arizona wine, signature cocktails, and a full chef driven menu featuring an upscale take on classic pub food. We are family friendly and offer outdoor dining and live music in the beautiful summer months.
Stopped for a beer and lunch. The stout was so good I bought one to take with me. And the soup was magnificent. Vegetable beef - there was the equivalent to an entire steak in my soup and the flavor was excellent. Our server was very friendly and gave us lots of tips for exploring the Grand Canyon.
