Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Putrajaya. Putrajaya, officially the Federal Territory of Putrajaya, is a planned city and the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya because of overcrowding and congestion in the former. Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia's national capital and is the seat of the King, the Parliament, and all the foreign embassies, and the country's commercial and financial centre. Putrajaya was the idea of former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. It became Malaysia's third Federal Territory, after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan, in 2001.
Things to do in Putrajaya
I would describe this as a stop-and-go kind of place. Not really a place to have a large gathering and sit down for an extended time. Lots of families so noise level was rather high.Lots of choices on the menu, portions are quite big as well.

An inland resort not located in a mountainous area is not exact a resort, but since the Cyberview is the best in Cyberjaya, one would have thought it might have a nice Chinese restaurant. We had a group banquet, and surprisingly the food is quite mediocre. Only one out of the six dishes was good (egg yolk green beans), and none was served warm! Competent and friendly service. The décor is a bit glumny.

My family and I visited Summer Palace for dim sum buffet today. The manager, Madam Joanne Foo greeted us warmly and recomended the various types of scrumptous dim sum to our liking. The dim sum chef, Mr. Tan Sheng did a wonderful job in preparing the array of food ordered. We were served by courteous and polite staff namely Melzan, Aris, Shafiq, Ragil and Mukty. Summer Palace served THE BEST DIM SUM in town, I dare say. The ambience of the restaurant live up to their name of Palace. Summer Palace is a suitable place for all occassion. located in the Botanical Gardens, Putrajaya
The restaurant is located beside a lake in Taman Botani Putrajaya. Service is slow (maybe too many customers). Good view and environment. Seafood and the taste is normal
Catering China Muslim specialties by the concept of Delicious, Cheap, Fast ! Our menu featured by homemade noodles and Roast Mutton Sticks!
Choices - They got soup noodle with beef chicken mutton. They have sizzling too. Kebab stick. Free flow drink. Dumpling which I did not enjoy.Price - Reasonable price. Rm8.50 for each noodle bowl. Rm2.20 for kebab stick but rm6 for lamb stick. I really enjoy the lamb more than the noodleTaste - Normal. Nothing to be amazed.

Balqis Restaurant is a middle eastern & western restaurant. Situated front of the putrajaya lake. it's the ideal place for that very special night
It's a simple venue, nothing fancy that you might be extra charged with, but the food is delicious. Authentic Arabic dishes - absolutely yummy and worth a try. This is a restaurant I'd love to come back and try some more. Service is fine and was fast. All in all I'm really pleased.

Stimulate your senses with contemporary Chinese cuisine at Le Mei. This Chinese restaurant, with its modern and innovative "Chinese" design, authentic yet contemporary cuisine is sure to delight your senses.
Food was tasty. Great ambience for business lunch. Service was rather slow, but they made up for it by accommodating to special requests when we went there for a team lunch. Ask for what discounts are offered with the different credit cards, and you can get up to 45% off, so that' s well worth it.

We had a buffet dinner and ala carte menus ad well. The buffet line and the variety is good and a lots of choices. The price is reasonable as we had a discount card. Service from waiter not bad. The Manager took take our table. Appreciate it. The thing that i would like to highlight here is, since the restaurant in le meridien hotel itself. Please ask the valet service and the bell boy to be more alert and manners towards all the guest arrive with car. DO NOT EVER MENTION THE VALET PRICE TO THE GUEST UNLESS THE GUEST ASK FOR IT. THE VALET ATTENDANCE PLEASE MORE ALERT DO NOT UNTIL WE CALL THEM TO TAKE OUR CARE FOR VALET, DONT BZ WITH THE PHONE WHILE WORKING. ONE MORE THING. DO NOT UNDER ESTIMATE PEOPLE WHO DRIVE SMALL CAR. ONCE THEY PARK AT VALET MEANS THEY GOT MONEY AND THEY CAN PAY YOUR VALET. Please take this as positive comment as dont want to happen like me in future.
