Our whole family enjoy Desii’s the lads who work here are great, they remember us and always make us feel welcome.
They’ll make you something up that’s not on the menu too, we like masala fish and they’ll always knock us one up if we ask. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
It’s our go to Indian restaurant for family get togethers or a take out on a Saturday night.

The menu at Delgados manages to cater for everyone whilst still remaining authentic. All their dishes are freshly prepared using local seasonal produce and in addition they import some extra special ingredients direct from Italy itself. It has a vast selection of main meals from the stone-baked freshly prepared pizzas, and authentic pasta dishes, to a variety of steak and poultry dishes, each made with locally produced meat of the highest standard and, to top it all, kids can make their own pizza.
Food, service and value is excellent at Delgados and we can never fault a thing.
Trio of bruschetta is something else.
We love coming here and the grandkids love it too, the staff are very attentive when they try and make their own pizza's - chef hats and colouring to keep them busy while the adults can enjoy the fun.
Very very friendly place.

But then again it was News Years Eve..............the food was good ( A banquet for 4 People) and the service was also good and with some humour thrown in!!. Champagne to toast in the new year, the place was packed out hence having to book months in advance. Overall pretty good and it does seem very popular.

The pub is modern in decor the staff I encountered friendly enough. Now onto the negatives.
After ordering a Chicken Pizza Schnitzel ( a golden fried breaded chicken fillet smothered in a tomato salsa and topped with melted cheese) and returning to my table I was informed that there was no tomato salsa. So basically you want to serve me chicken and cheese..?
I changed my order to a Steak and Ale pie, after no longer than a 4 minute wait my microwaved pastry and gravy boat arrived. Honestly one of the most unappetizing meals I have had in a long time.

Food was lovely. Service was great. Only thing was we got confused with the kids menu and thought it was all together the main and dessert which we pay for as no prices on kids menu we thought it was a set menu. Other than that fab. we will return.

Visited with the family for Mam's birthday. Let's say she's over 80. Probably left it late when booked and told we could have the table for 2 hours between 4 and 6.
We've been a few times before and love the layout and feel. Nice fire on the go.
Seated straight away and much patience shown for the father in law as he's a bit unsteady on his feet.
We know the menu and were glad to see some new dishes to choose from. Drinks order taken and served real quick. Draught Moretti is good however I fancied Peroni available in bottles.
Not long after the table filled with food. There was 7 of us and about 4 plates each. Left us with great choice but as usual we ordered too much. Not a problem as it was trayed up for take away.
All in all a great visit and we'll be back again.

The Crown Inn first opened in the 1840’s, we have retained the traditional pub feeling, but we are also a restaurant serving the finest homemade food. Here at The Crown we have a great passion for good food. All of our dishes are freshly prepared on the premises by our team of dedicated & professional Chefs. Please note our menu changes frequently depending on what fresh ingredients are available. We have a fine selection of wines which are available by the bottle or the glass, as well as our normal range of beers, cask ales, spirits & soft drinks. We also welcome large groups for special events & can provide quality buffets. Pre orders are available for guests with special dietary requirements or for those looking to eat something extra special.
The food here is very good, we had Sunday lunch and it was all fresh and well presented. Only problem is that this place is very tired and needs updating. It try's to achieve everything by accommodating regular boozers and sport watching amidst were people are eating. Such a shame that they do not segregate the diners away from the sport pub feel, as it is noisy.

Went for a much anticipated meal here with friends after hearing rave reviews.
Has a nice evening but wasn’t as good as I’d hoped. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff, who were very pleasant and polite. Found the restaurant intimate and pleasant , clean and a nice place to eat.
Felt a bit limited by the menu, in particular starters, had the rabbit which was dry and I felt needed more seasoning for my taste ( no condiments on table ). Main was halibut which was “ok” but nothing breathtaking- dessert was tiny- cheesecake with fruit.
Was with friends and drinking and talking so didn’t particularly notice service was slow - received main nearly two hours after sitting down, however food was cooked well and hot, but very small helpings
Was pleasant enough but no “ wow” factor-might have turned around a bit had it been more reasonably priced
Had absolutely nothing to complain about however nothing to rave about either.
