Staff very helpful and pleasant. Room clean and quiet. Easy to book online and check in. Would recommend venue to others. Have used Quest apartments in the past and found this one was up there with a lot of those in cities I have visited.

Very nice meals . Ate there twice during a recent stay. Was greeted in the restaurant & met both the restaurant manager & Chef. One meal was the beef short rib (I had the 1/2 sized meal) & it was a huge meal. The next night I shared the Lamb rack with roast Veg with my friend. Both meals were cooked loverly, well presented & tasty . What more could you ask for in a Pub. Well done guys!

There’s sunshine aplenty in Whyalla; an average of 300 days per year, in fact. South Australia’s third largest city is a great year-round holiday destination. You’ll find abundant green space and uninterrupted views of beautiful Spencer Gulf at Discovery Parks - Whyalla Foreshore. Our caravan park is close to family-friendly swimming beaches and excellent fishing spots. Cast a line into the protected waters of the gulf – Whyalla is known as Australia’s snapper capital. We always stay in this Park when we have our van in tow, but this time without it, we chose a cabin for an overnight stay. It was so well equipped, with a very comfortable bed, and we were blown away with what was revealed when we opened what we thought were wardrobe doors where we found a trough, washing machine and dryer, how good was that! Reception staff are always very friendly and obviously enjoy their job and that is why we always return when passing this way!

Lovely room with very comfortable beds, updated decor' and we slept like a baby. We had a recently renovated bathroom with the best shower ever and soft towels that smelt like a fresh garden. Nice treat after a long drive. Barbara (Manager) kindly took our call long after admin hours as we needed last minute arrangements and was most hospitable. The lovely lady who was at the breakfast bar when I handed in my key, greeted me with a friendly smile early in the morning and was very welcoming. It was a very short and sudden trip for us, but we would definitely stay there again. Thank you Barbara and all of your staff.

Very disappointed. Stayed there a year ago and very pleased with room & meal. Not so this year, carpet in room very badly stained which made rest of room feel dirty. Armchairs also could do with a clean. Bathroom was fine. Meal in dining room very average. Chips were cold & no taste to salt & pepper squid. Snitzels were just thrown on plate with pile of chips, certainly did not look appetising. Salad bar excellent. Took 1 hr for our meals to come out.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 1 bath apartment, number 10, which was spacious and well equipped. A slight issue with check-in process was quickly resolved with a phone call and overall we were very happy with our stay. It is upstairs but there is lift access (although that involves a long walk). no dishwasher.

Reception staff were very happy to assistance and polite. We booked a Studio Cabin for a quick stop over, price was competitive. Our cabin was located at the rear of the park. A quiet location with parking right outside the cabin. The room was basic but comfortable, clean and we enjoyed our stay. The refrigerator was noisy however we unplugged it before bed and had a fantastic night sleep. My only concern is that there is no handrail on one side of a very narrow landing, leaving an unprotected edge. This could potentially lead to a serious injury. All things considered, a great stay at a reasonable price.

I suggest you bring your own power board. There was no vacant power point to charge my devices except one power point inconveniently over the bed. I had to disconnect the TV to plug in the electric jug. The TV was extremely small, only about 12 inch screen. I bought my own milk as the milk supplied was only about 100 mL. Fortunately I only booked to stay for one night. No excuse for a newly built hotel not having sufficient power points.

we stayed a night and the entire room and bathroom was disgusting the sheets and pillows had not been washed there was black pubic hair all over the sheets doona cover and our pillows. The doona was on backwards and the bed was shoved in at the sides and the mattress cover was hanging in a big heap at the end of the bed there was rubbish under the bed the carpet had not been vacuumed for so long there was dust matted against the wall all the way around the room. There was dust everywhere windows blinds sills even the cabinet above the fridge. The fridge was split in two places top of door and held on with some metal bracket that looked so not right the seal in it was golden yellow, a power point with a big hole on its side in the wall, the kettle was yuck the water was terrible, The bathroom had not been cleaned at all the wall was dirty there was grime in the base of shower in corners the mirrors were dirty the taps on the sink were gross with green corrosion on them more than a little, there was a soap dispenser which looked ancient and it was broken open looked unsightly and black mold growing under its base. The tv was dirty marks on it and the air conditioner had so much dust on both filters had not been cleaned in at least 6 to 12 months, Not impressed and they did not offer a refund which was not professional at all. All in all their customer service in their accommodation area was rude and inconsiderate and it really showed it is all about taking your money and who cares what or how clean your room is and how hygienic your stay is!!!!!

Pros: Super clean and contemporary layout. Loved the little kitchen bench, table and chairs. Shower pressure and heat was excellent. Keypad entry. Hairdryer and ironing facilities available in the room. Location was centrally based to walk to either side of Whyalla. Heater worked well (but noisy). Disliked: No WIFI at all! They use very strong scented laundry products that are bad for allergy sufferers as myself. Pillows were not comfortable. Extra blanket should have been available in the room. Rooms are not sound proof and very noisy from trucks driving up Playford.
