Best bagels, hands down in NYC. This shop is one of the last remaining bagel places that make bagels by hand, using the old method. The bagels are fresh, chewy and scrumptious. There is an array of flavors, perfect to suit any taste. A newly renovated seating area inside is perfect for someone who wants to linger over a cup of coffee and my only advice is to arrive early because the line is incredibly long. They open very early.

Best pizzeria and nicest guys around. The chicken calzone is delicious and their regular and sausage pies are the best. Long live Louie and Ernie!

Although we moved years ago we still stop in from time to time and are always glad we did. The food is basic Italian food and I swear the recipes haven't changed in the 40 years we're eating here! They sell pizza as well. Nothing...MoreThanks so much for your kind words! We greatly appreciate them!

We were well aware of this place even before arriving in the neighborhood. We went around 11 AM on a Monday for an early light/late breakfast. Was not too busy and we were seated right away (although things picked up in the restaurant later on).
Of course we got the showcase soup dumplings, but we also got scallion pancakes and vegetable dumplings. The soup dumplings were the "soupiest" either of us have had, certainly at least in North America. The vegetable dumplings were good in their own right, also steamed, but it made us feel a little less guilty by letting us eat greens. The scallion pancake were fine.
Be sure to have cash, and use the various sauces and vinegar to jazz up your dumplings.

Got both cherry and lime. Perfect Italian ice. Reminds me of the stuff we used to get in Philly as a kid. Service was quick. Highly recommend.

Located in Corona section of Queens it’s a bit off the beaten path but the restaurant is worth the trip. Make reservations well in advance the place is always packed. The food is outstanding. Healthy portions are provided. The service is old school and professional. Nice wine list.

There are lots of Greek restaurants in Bayside. For meat dishes, our favorite is Avli. It has a warm, casual atmosphere. We enjoyed humus for appetizer (much better than store bought) and gyro sandwiches for entrees. Love their gyros. Ordered a side of lemon potatoes - delicious!

I visit often and have never had a bad or sub-par meal. Lots of daily specials, always fresh. I love the fried calamari or grilled seafood appetizers and the Capellini di Mare. The baby lamb chops special with broccoli rabe was outstanding!! They have very reasonable Lunch and Early Bird Dinner Special menus. It's my go-to restaurant for a good, affordable meal. And the Manager greets you, visits the patrons, and is actively hands-on.

Come to Magna and discover Flushing's Hidden Gem! A true taste of Italy is tucked away just around the corner from Northern Blvd and 35 Avenue, adjacent to the Marco Hotel & Suites. Open for Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner daily. Perfect for business or pleasure. At Magna, you will enjoy a variety of Italian dishes and a fine wine selection. Let Magna impress your taste buds. Benvenuti a tutti e buon appetito! Great location, just a few minutes to LaGuardia Airport,CitiField, and the US Open.
I dined here because I stayed at the Marco LGA hotel where this restaurant is located and I didn't have to venture out for dinner. Unfortunately, I arrived the previous day after a very long flight (30hrs) crossing 12 time zones, so did not have the appetite to enjoy more of the menu selections.
I had the pasta with Pesto sauce and shrimp and it was tasty. The portion was quite large so I had no room for dessert. Wish they would come up with a multi-course set meal, like in Italy, with much smaller portions so that diners can sample different items.
Will dine here again when I stay at the Marco LGA Hotel to sample more of the food.
