This ‘restaurant’ is an abomination and should not get high marks. Food is terrible, highly overrated; don’t know how they claim to be Italian; Americanized version, maybe. Waste of money. Don’t bother.

Westchester's favorite celebration restaurant. "The Melting Pot is pure entertainment," said the New York Times. Whether it's a romantic dinner for two, bridal event, babyshower, Ladies' Night Out, or birthday, The Melting Pot has the recipe to make all your occasions special. Relax in our private, elegant atmosphere and let our attentive servers guide you through our wide selection of fondues, fresh salads, succulent entrees and fine wines. Winner of an "Award of Excellence" from Wine Spectator magazine.
We love having fondue and are repeat customers since this location opened ten years ago. It's a fun experience and is our go to place for celebrating a birthday or anniversary and in this case, a belated Valentine's Day. Tony the manager always visits every table and our server treated us very well, she was great.
The food is wonderful - we love, love, love the Fiesta cheese fondue with white/brown/pretzel bread dippers and fruit and veggies (wish they would bring back the cauliflower which I much prefer over cherry tomatoes or celery). We love the mojo course with French Quarter and Good Earth Vegetarian (I love the addition of the polpettes - spicy vegetarian friendly meatballs). And you must celebrate Valentine's Day with dark chocolate fondue! We had to roll ourselves out of there, but we were satisfied as always!
Needless to say, we will be back! We would highly recommend this restaurant. It is one of our go to places for a fun dining experience.

We visited for a team meal with co-workers. The food was truly wonderful, seemed freshly prepared, and priced right. Our meal was never rushed, but service can be on the slow side when busy. It's a fun restaurant where they attempt to meet everyone's specific requests for customizing your meal. Portions are large, and you will come away happy and satisfied. A unique cuisine which is simply delicious and hard to find in the area. Great restaurant for everything from a date to a more formal family dining experience. Wonderful for large groups, they handle them well.

City Limits redefines the traditional American diner experience by showcasing a wide selection of comforting, sophisticated dishes-from house-smoked meats to gourmet pastries. The diner, which has locations in White Plains, NY, and Stamford, CT, specializing in breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
You can always be sure you’ll get a great meal here. Diner food is comfort food and City Limits delivers (figuratively AND literally). Great service, fast like a diner but they don’t hustle you out if you want to chat with your GF.
Even though White Plains is a fairly large city, reasonably priced, non-chain, excellent restaurants aren’t found in abundance. City Limits stands out among them.
I like that it’s central for meeting friends from farther north or the other side of the county.
Pro tip: avert your eyes from the oh-so-tempting baked goodies they sell at the entrance.

The best Italian restaurant with a Mediterranean touch in Westchester. Our specialties are Wine, Steaks and Traditional Italian Cuisine. We pride ourselves in making your food fast and fresh when you order it. We have the dining experience you crave. Reservations are highly recommended.
After much hype from many people we finally decided to try Alex's. This restaurant has undergone many ownership and the current owner have been there for quite some time. We are just late to the game. We were only able to get a 6:45 reservation on a Saturday nigh in August, but it turned out Alex knew what he was talking about. If we had arrived much later, it would have been much louder and more crowded. This is a place where most of the diners are regulars but we were treated like we were as well and it was our first visit. A warm welcome at the door, and attentive service throughout the meal. We were never rushed, but always someone near by when we needed something. One of the best martini's I have had in a long time, nice and cold and served in a chilled glass. Our entire meal was delicious, and there are many items on the menu I would like to try at a future date. A wonderful experience all around, I would highly recommend it. We are definitely returning.

Excellent customizable sandwiches, good prices, friendly staff.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the delicious sandwiches we had at Melt. We were staying in the city for an evening event and chose to go to this tiny restaurant based on social media comments. We were not disappointed!! We enjoyed the ability to choose the type of bread, meat and combo. My wife said her Philly Cheesesteak Calzone and I was blown away by the delicious and huge BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich.

A few friends gathered for dinner on a Sunday evening. Overall, we gave the cuisine and service a "good" rating although we felt the restaurant lacked ambiance -- but that's not a reason not to try it. Management tries very hard to make you feel at home.

The exceptional quality of food and service and a friendly, comfortable atmosphere have made Sam's a favorite for seven decades. And those continuing goals remain true today. Now, Sam's has a new look for the millennium. Peter and Karen Herrero, natives of White Plains, are your hosts today. They follow the Sam's tradition by providing excellence in food and service, and assuring a special and personable dining experience.
It's hard for me to rate the restaurant completely objectively since I was at a private party for about 50 people - usually a difficult project for a restaurant. The service was at least adequate, probably better than that. Moreover, the food was excellent and served HOT - often missed at restaurants even serving tables for two or four.

We stayed in the area and this restaurant was recommended by the hotel. The menu choices included appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and endless burger choices. We ordered a beef burger and Turkey burger. My Turkey burger was outstanding - juicy and large on a fresh brioche bun. One of us ordered the fries and one ordered a salad as our side, then we split. The beer choices were good, too. It was a pleasant dinner overall and the service was excellent.

The Hudson Grille brings contemporary American dining to a new level. With seating capacity of over 270, the Hudson Grille provides casual yet elegant dining, attentive service and delicious cuisine that will satisfy the most discerning palate. The beautifully appointed dining room, with plush red drapes and private bar can play host to a romantic evening or a private gathering of family and friends. Enjoy your dining experience on our outdoor patio, open year round.
Hudson Grille has always been a good restaurant, but it seems to me to have improved continually over the years. Three of us shared French onion soup and tomato bisque as starters, and then cheeseburgers and fish n’chips as mains. Service is excellent and the prices are reasonable for quality food
