Three of us enjoyed superb, mainly local food. The service was very good and the staff made some excellent and informed recommendations regarding wine and food. From the outside the restaurant looks a little less welcoming than it might, but once inside the surroundings are clean, more modern than many German restaurants, light and airy with plenty of room between the tables to make the experience more personal and intimate if required.

Swabian restaurant and wine bar, which specialises in regional wines and food (you also get some local beer). You will find a wide selection of rump steak / roast beef varieties, roast pork with homemade sauce, "Spatzle" (swabian noodles) and roast potato

We happened to drive by this restaurant and we decided to give it a try. What a good decision it was. We had a lovely dinner with only local dishes (schnitzel, spätzle and a salad) and the local wine that was recommended was fresh and light and flavourful. The local desert of which I have forgotten the name was a fortunate discovery. I highly recommend this restaurant for its qualitative dishes, friendly service and reasonable prices.

Visiting the oldest german sparkling wine cellar is really nice and enjoyable, especially after tasting some of the very nice sparkling wines. In the shop you will also find a small museum with the history of the wine cellar and on Saturdays go early, because it will be crowded already at 10 am. Very nice courtyard available where to sit and listen to some music (Saturdays only)
