Great steaks and lobster.we have visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Shenzhen.the 1kg steak we shared is great and same level as fine American steak with deep taste and cooked very goodthe foie gras was great as well!on the first diner we had at this restiranti ate great meat plate with lobster, its was very good as well.only issue with this place is the price, the price is the same as in fine restaurants in NY or London. but the food is high level with good products

It's definitely a tough job to describe the feelings and experience of an afternoon tea in a skyscraper hotel, especially when you come with a charming lady. Strategically locating in the highest building in NanShan district makes Marriot NanShan easily to attract both local and international guests, no matter you are in-house guests or walk-in Marriot&SPG members. After living in Shenzhen for almost 2 years, I have to say that the Ritz Carlton Shenzhen has been one of the places I frequent when I need to clear my mind from the hectic city. Service as always is good for Ritz Carlton standards around the world and excellent for Shenzhen standards, the staff is friendly, and ever since my first visit the staff recognizes me every time I go.Tonight was different from usual, it has been the first night that I've had encountered a problem with my food at the Ritz Carlton. It was astonishing to see an undercooked piece of my meal, but what was even more impressive is how the associates at the restaurant went the extra mile to solve my problem. Before I could look up to find anyone to mention my problem, the manager of Onyx approached me as she most have noticed that I was looking at my food in a different way. She immediately noticed the problem, and before I could say anything she offered a solution - she will order a new dish for me immediately, offered complimentary drinks for me and my friend, as well as a fruit platter, and enquire whether I would like to keep the current dish (as it was still edible) - in the most attentive, and empathic way possible.Being used to the average service standards in the city, this was above my expectations and reaffirmed why The Ritz Carlton continues to be one of my favorite 5 star brands in the world. The service is constant wherever you go, and they keep true to their motto serving ladies and gentlemen, as such.
