We visited Caffe Umberto at the recommendation of our host. She actually recommended Eno Club, which is the Sister restaurant just downstairs. We dined upstairs in the more casual Caffe Umberto. It was a happy accident! The wine list was very extensive (mostly wines from the Langhe region. Which is why you come to Alba anyway, right?!) and the sommelier was very knowledgeable although a bit hard to have a conversation with. The menu was not as extensive as the restaurant downstairs, but had many delicious options. We happened to be there during the truffle season, so we enjoyed the Alba white truffles. When paying our bill, the manager offered us a complimentary tasting of Grappa. We enjoyed it so much we made a reservation for the following night downstairs at EnoClub.

I was at this restaurant back in April after the hotel concierge recommended for late lunch. It was great then, but we did not return until this July trip. There aren't that many good restaurants in La Morra, so we just went back and loved the food. This restaurant has very cheap menu and great price for wines. We actually went twice this time- two days in a row. I loved the cold riso, and the burrata cheese!! I would love to go back to this restaurant.

Beautiful location in the heart of Verduno. A family business since 1953. Traditional food, local and natural products. The castleâs luxuriant dining room or the quiet garden are the ideal place for a good glass of wine at the sunset and dinner by candlel
We were treated to a very special dinner in this charming castle, by some of the winemakers that we visited earlier in the afternoon. Located in Verduno, it is a lovely setting with good food, and a pretty amazing wine list. Our winemaker friends also brought more wine for us to try, in addition to finding some older Barolos on the menu. Our food was very traditional regional cooking, with a wonderful Barolo risotto. The restaurant itself is like being in someone's home, with antiques, and decoration befitting of a castle.

...Enoclub is a must. Very friendly people and even last year which wasn't a good year Luca was able to serve a good white truffle. This year for me again a very good meal, for my wife less good since Red Mullet is not really here taste and unfortunately the Tuna Tartar wasn't anymore on the menu. We spoiled ourselves with a 2010 Romirasco, a Barolo made by Aldo Conterno. As a main court I ordered the Tagleri with white truffle. Very good as usual. A good bottle of Wine, Pasta and saved white Truffel - what do you need more....

We walked in and were immediately greeted by a very nice woman. We asked to sit outside and she put us in a sunny warm spot, then brought us water and bread. We placed our order for a meat and cheese board and two glasses of wine. While my wife was in the restroom, the nice lady came with the bottle of wine to pour for us and said she would wait until my wife returned. After my wife got back, we waited so long for someone to come, we eventually poured the wine ourselves. And then wait even longer for the meat and cheese board that was bought out by somebody else. We then waited a very long time for them to ask us if everything was all right, we ordered the check and left. We may have eaten more food but ran out of time. I believe there was a communication problem inside the restaurant and they forgot about us outside.Dear BethlehemPaUSA,thank you for the time to write this review.I'm very happy to read you have been nicely greeted. On the orther hand I'm sorry for the incovienience of the wine and the long wait.I have already shared your comments with my colleagues and I am sure that your words will be an incentive for us to keep improving and delivering exceptional service to our guests. Very unprepossing little roadside bar/restaurant served fantastic fresh tasty local food. My ravioli with black truffle was unbelievable: the ravioli was served and then mountains of fresh black truffle was grated onto it at the table. A simple salad tasted as if it had all been plucked from the garden 10â previously. Yum!

Based in the centre of Albalies a welcoming and refined placewhereyou can breathe the air of Hemingwayâsscenes, from Paris to Havana, from Florian to the Harris Bar, sipping drinks until2am or sampling typicaldishes and delicious snacks. This small parlou
We had two meals in this restaurant. The first evening it was really very good, with an excellent fresh tomato sauce on our pasta, which was cooked to perfection and a delicious tagliata. We were so impressed that we returned the next evening, only to be somewhat disappointed. They were very busy as it was a Friday evening, and the food was simply not as good. I wouldn't go back there to eat at the weekend, but there were plenty of Italians having a pre-dinner buffet and drinks (the aperitivo), which all looked very interesting. I would stick to that next time.

This is a little simple restaurant situated just nearby the entrance to Albergo Castello di Verduno. It looks very unpretentious but the short menu is very good, everything tasty and prepared with local products and vegetables. Service friendly and helpful. Drink one of the excellent Pela Verga wines and pay a very convenient price for everything. I would say that the food in this simple trattoria is definitely more tasteful than the one served in the restaurant of the Albergo which is to my taste bland and not priceworth. The location in a quiet piazza near the church San Michele and the park of Verduno is very nice. Wi-fi free on the premises.

La Cantina Wine Bar is a family run business situated between Verduno and La Morra. It has a large terrace with a scenic view. La Cantina serves Breakfast, Lunch, Gelato, Aperitifs, Wine and Coffee.
We've been coming to Verduno for years and have watched this bar evolve into a great little cantina. Family friendly, bilingual and great selection of local wines. They have recently introduced a menu and while we didn't have lunch here, we did come for drinks and were able to sample some of what they have. And even with the food and the wine, its still an outstanding bar for the best espresso in the area!!!
