This regional Wine Bar, Market and Bistro is Cannery Row's 2nd largest attraction with Monterey's Best View and is a must see when in Monterey. We invite you to come in and discover the culinary delights of Monterey Wine Country at our ocean view wine bar
Jasmine was our hostess and she was AWESOME! To me ambiance is just as important as the food.... and the view was outstanding! Comfortable chairs, huge clean windows overlooking the water. The wine tasting was fun (added a "tasters" cheese plate and it was yummy). Enjoyed five different wines and made notes on their list sheet that you can take with you. The staff is super knowledgeable about wines. After our wine tasting was done we decided to stay and eat lunch. Wonderful food! Had my favorite wine from the tasting and enjoyed a wide variety of appetizers. They had a full menu but we wanted to enjoy different types of food with the wine. Do not miss their cheese stuffed bacon wrapped dates!! Loved the atmosphere, wine, food and staff so much we went back for a second visit before we left on the rest of our trip. We've never done that before because our motto when traveling is try something new everyday. But this place was so outstanding we had to go back one last time. We will return next year!

Although originally identified as possible recipient of our happy hour dollars, we made a last minute decision to forego drinks in favor of having dinner at this upscale restaurant. We each ordered the famous crispy lamb shank that comes with a small salad. The portion of lamb was truly mammoth while the meat proved to be both flavorful and tender without a hint of gameness. A side order of scalloped potato was delicious but grossly overpriced at $8 given its petite size.
