Definitely a fantastic place to discover Slovak wines. The sommelier was extremely friendly and helpful, giving great advices for both wine enthusiasts and beginners. We had a quite extensive tasting to discover the Slovak wines, including some "rarities" (such as a white cabernet sauvignon!). A place not to miss if you want to taste slovak wines!

the food was very good, but everything else was really really bad. The service was unfriendly, we waited for almost an hour to get our food. The starters and main plates came together and the plates were cold. They forgot 9(!!) meals, thats was really disappointing. We spent more than 2 hours here.. To top it off, its really expensive. There was no good value, eventough the food is good. I dont recommend going there. Lots of other good restaurants for half the price and equall good food.Thank you very much for you review, we are really sorry that you had such an unpleasant experience. We would like to kindly ask you if you could help us identify who was serving you on that evening? Can you please try to describe him or her ? Thank you in advance With the kindest apologiesDominik

What a great find. La Cava Barcelona offers authentic, generous sized tapas and steaks to share.Overall, found the food flavourful, especially the Patatas bravas. Enjoyed a nice Tuna tataki.Service overall was very friendly, prompt and gracious. My only suggestion is for the Pan Con Tomate to be toasted a bit more

Pluses : This is a lovely spot to sit and soak up the atmosphere of the old town. A beautiful spot.Negatives: The coffee and service are both poor unfortunately.

A well executed modern take on the traditional Austrian Heuriger (wine pub / restaurant). The building is very modern with an outside terrace, so not like a traditional Heuriger at all. The wine and food offer is more familiar, basically lots of things that go well with wine - local bread with sliced cheese, amazing sharing plates containing cold cuts (the ham was so yummy, we fought over very slice), pork scratchings, grapes and cheeses. We scoffed the lot. There are several fixed combinations of 4 wines to taste. We enjoyed many of them and ended up buying three boxes of wine at the end. Service is very friendly and quick. Recommended for a lazy summer day guzzling wine in the sunshine.
