We stayed in Leiria for one night and wanted to try a typical Portuguese restaurant. This place didn't disappoint, as the food was fantastic. Although perhaps not the most ambient of environments (big bright office-type light panels on the ceiling, and a football game was on TV), this didn't take anything away from the overall experience. Typical Portuguese menu with plenty of seafood choices, and a few meat dishes. I had fish soup as a starter, which was very good, and for the main course I had grouper, which was a little more expensive than the other fish dishes but nevertheless reasonably priced. It was well worth it, and the portion size was extremely generous. The service was very good, and the place seemed to be extremely popular with the locals too. Very good value for money - well worth a visit if staying in Leiria.
