We had the pappardelle with the lamb shanks, the fettuccine, and the ravioli.. Beautiful food, very tasty. Three of us had the cheese cake for dessert, which was death by cheesecake. Delicious!! The pannacotta was also delicious, but I was glad I had the cheesecake... rolled out of there very happy!!

A reasonable variety of modern Australian cuisine served promptly. An impressive wine list and good service. We very much enjoyed the mussels. The room was at capacity when we dined there last Friday evening so it was very loud. Fine dining prices.

we had a combined room/dinner package. The atmosphere of the restaurant was small and cosy but the other people never felt intrusive. The staff were excellent and nothing was too much of a problem for them. Menu was interesting and well thought out in that the portions were such that you could share easily because of the way they were prepared. Also i felt the pricing very reasonable including the drinks.

Here for a friend's birthday dinner. With 20 guests, we were looked after very well in 'the back room'. An interesting selection of meat and vegetable dishes, finishing off with some lovely cheeses. Particularly enjoyed some of the pickled vegetables. Service was efficient and inobtrusive.

Sometimes the simple menus are the best ones. All you need to know is they serve dozens of varieties of cheese & various cured meats with wine, they do it well, and you can watch it being prepared right in front of you.I'm not a big cheese fan, my friend was, but what I did taste was pretty nice. I really enjoyed the smoked cheese. My favourite was definitely the cured meat, but that's just my palate. My friend was very pleased with the cheese. If you're looking for hot food, this probably isn't the place for you, but the one hot dish we did order, the mac & cheese, was pretty decent.
