It is situated close to the shore and on a peninsula by the Saronic Gulf. Lagonisi is located approximately 30 km southeast of Athens and 35 km northwest of Cape Sounio. Being filled with luxury homes, beaches as well as a 5-star hotel that lie within the Saronic, it is one of the most expensive areas in Attica Prefecture. I wish it was closer to my house... but that again makes it even more special, saved for very special occasions like our 1st year wedding anniversary. The decoration and ambiance is amazing and cries out loud that the owner has personally supervised every single detail of the whole project. Short but exquisite menu options and vast options of wines for all sorts of "wallets." Every single detail of this place is unque...even the sound system and the speakers flooding the hall with jazz tunes that perfectly match the scenery.
