No pichets ici, but the wine list is good. It seems a popular little hangout for locals and it is a nice place to rest your feet and relax. We enjoyed the time we spent here and the wine we chose.

We came across this bar/cave on our first night in Beaune. The guys were really knowledgeable and friendly. Great choice of wine by the glass and the bottle. Brilliant atmosphere in the cave and good music, nice selection of plats to accompany your wine , we had the local cheese and meat play which was delicious. It was so good we went back again the next night.

This is the best bar in the entire city. The man behind the bar is the reason. He's fabulous, helpful, and nice. The place is tiny. The locals seemed to order drinks then stand outside. Inside only have 4 or 6 stools total. Small list of wine by the glass, large list of bottles. The bartender speaks enough english to make good recommendations for the tourists.

We arrived at Le Vins De Maurice after a long days driving and really quite tired. We were just in the mood for some good wine and simple food and what we got was fantastic. The gentleman who looked after us was Benjamin who, with his comprehensive knowledge, provided us great wines along with a wonderful array of hams and cheeses. He explained each in detail (even the order to best eat them in!) and all were well complimented by the accompanying wines. All eaten in the wonderful outdoor surroundings of the streets of Beaume - fabulous!!

After getting stuck here with a broken down car, I managed to visit this place. The owner was very friendly, beers are good but the wine list.....great range, some small producers, reasonably priced for Beaune. Good choice is limited but a great show of produce, and excellent Rilettes (once it warmed slightly) Came back twice more!!!!

This unpretentious little bar and cafe near the station was just what he needed for a quick(ish) drink and a snack with friends. The evening was a little too cool to sit outside, and at first we were put off by the noise level inside - but the jolly lady behind the bar quickly set up a table for us in a quiet corner and we then enjoyed some very good but reasonably priced local wine and a selection of Restobar's famous tartines (Large open sandwiches). These were filling and tasty, although I felt that the melted cheese had been rather overdone in the one that I chose.

We were here on our family holiday celebrating a birthday... The owner (Xavier?) was really accommodating. The music and food was spot on. We had the best night of our holiday here at La Parenthese. If you are in Beaune, you must stop here. Merci Beaucoup La Parenthese! Xavier, if you find your self in the US, please find us so we can host you and your lovely wife. Thanks you !We had a great evening too Nice to see you again Take careXavier et Flo

3.5 stars but I always round down.We ate at this restaurant as recommended by our guide. The restaurant has outdoor and indoor seating. We chose to sit outside where we were bothered by some small black flies. We finally fled inside when it began to rain. The first floor seating area is cramped and some seats for the tables are actually stools, which is quite uncomfortable for a meal, though they would be fine for just a drink and some tapas. We were seated near a window and the air conditioning was turned off. The room got quite warm. The menu is a bit limiting for dinner, but they also have a tapas menu for a quicker bite. They do have an extensive wine menu and this is where they shine, though prices, as you might expect, are a bit high. We brought one bottle with us and since we also ordered a pricey bottle of wine they did not charge a corkage fee and we appreciated that. We started with an appetizer made of avocado and haddock. It was awesome and a must get if you like those two ingredients. My wife had veal and I had a 3 egg dish and both were also very good. Service overall was slow and no one ever asked us how our food was. I always had to call someone over if we needed water for example. If they could fix the seating and the service they could earn a higher score from me. We probably will try someone else before going back but most should be happy here overall.

My wife and I ate here with another couple. The food was excellent. The sea bass special was cooked perfectly with an array of vegetables in clouding white asparagus. The other dish was a lamb shoulder for 2 people. Iâve never had anything like it, so most and tender, I wish I had more! The wine list is extensive and sommelier was very helpful. Would go back for sure.
