Reviews on Wine Bar food in Galway, Province of Connacht, Ireland. For visitors, the best thing about Galway is that you can walk everywhere. As soon as you arrive, enjoy a walk through the city streets. There, you'll find lively pubs, independent shops and winding cobblestone streets packed with students, artists, writers and craftspeople. You may even hear Gaelic spoken. For a day trip, take a ferry to the island of Inis Mor. You'll return refreshed by the ocean air and Inis Mor's breathtaking scenery. Oh, and be sure to wear sunscreen on the island, no matter how chilly it is. (Just trust us, okay?)

The Claddagh Restaurant is located in the historic Claddagh area. Serving fresh, locally sourced seafood and traditional Irish produce with a Sri Lankan twist. Recently Opened June 2019.
We had an exceptional meal here at Claddagh tonight and then went around the corner to Monroeâs to grab a pint and chat and dance. What a perfect evening! The seafood choices we had were exceptional, with great wine, friendly service and really good desserts. This place is only a few months old but itâs great. We highly recommend it

We brought some family to stay with us in Galway and brought them for dinner in Rouge. The table staff were excellent and the food was very tasty. My only complaint was we thought we would get better advice/discussion from the in-house wine expert, that said the wine he did recommend was excellent but he dint elaborate on why it would be good etc! All in all a lovely evening out in a great atmosphere.

The Kasbah wine bar is in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Galway. It is the perfect spot to relax over local and fresh food and a glass of wine to share with friends. Enjoy the streets of Galway from one of the most beautiful views in town. Perfect for
Iâve hesitated writing my review for Kasbah as part of me selfishly doesnât want too many people to know about it but that would be wrong! What a lovely little place. The food was gorgeous, 3 of us shared starters which included cauliflower marinated in a buffalo sauce and fried, one of the most delicious things Iâve ever had. The pulled pork tacos were also delicious, I had ribeye with a lovely salad and home fries, a lovely sauce accompanied, my friends had half a lobster and loved it. We struggled with dessert but the rhubarb crumble was fab. We washed it down with a lovely Albariño and a couple of g n tâs from the extensive choice. The staff were super nice, friendly and obliging as we did chop and change and there was no problem. Canât wait to go back!!

This is a little wedge of heaven set amongst the stalls of galyways local market stalls. The shop is a hub of activity and on venturing upstairs I was agast at the variety and knowledge on display. We only had a small platter of charcuterie and cheese having just eaten lunch but not wishing to pass the opportunity. Glutinous indeed. Advise and assistance was delivered expertly and appreciated. 5 stars. Beautiful.

Ate here as party of 6. Great service and food. Menu not huge but everything fresh and cooked to perfection. Classsical French bistro style with funky/mediterranean twists. Service attentive and knowledgable, particularly about wine. We will all be back. Definitely go a bit off the main street and go here. You will not be disappointed and will be congratulating yourself on a great little find!
