Historic site turned cozy wine tasting venue. You get to select the varietal and get a tasting from different regions/countries. They were very instructive and not pushy. Very relaxed. Really likes the experience

The name is actually Texas Wine Cellars, but it is a fun place to try wines from the smaller wineries across the state. The staff is knowledgable and fun. The selection meets every wine drinkers taste. There is also an excellent variety of beers to choose from, with those on tap available for tasting. Wine and beer accompaniments are available. Remember, Fredericksburg allows you to walk the historic district with a glass of wine or bottle of beer.

Come experience The Stable, an equestrian themed Cocktail Bar & Coffee House (Beer, Wine & Liquor) in Fredericksburg, Texas. A tiny, cozy cottage, we are a comfortable neighborhood hangout for locals and tourists alike! Located a couple blocks off of Main
Normally I would fall in love with little places like this. The tiny little hut-like place has two tables and a half dozen seats around a bar. The old brick walls, tin covered bar, wood slat ceilings are fabulous. It's charming the moment you walk in the door. I would be at five stars just to hang out in a place like this.Once we actually walked through the door, the guy behind the counter gruffly tells us there is no coffee. It was a genuine attempt to let us know, but it came off as rude and don't ask me for coffee. When I asked about the craft beer options, I was quickly told they had limited options because of an event. Again, it was true and a basic fact, but the delivery made it feel like he was put out that he had to explain it to me. My last strike was asking if there were any desserts. The same "no you're bothering me" delivery. We landed on tea and a glass of beer to enjoy the lovely little building, but we left not liking the experience. I don't know if I would come back. If that was the owner or a manager, then I would not. If it was an employee, I'd wait for a change out. The place is physically awesome, but it's so small that the attitude of the server makes all the difference in the world. We are extremely sorry you had that experience. We will take this feedback and improve. We strive to make every guest feel comfortable and welcomed!

Love the old Buick sign out front! Nice wine tasting room right on Main Street. We chose to be seated outside and were a little dismayed by the traffic noise from large tractor trailers. I guess there is no detour for trucks to get around MainStreet. But we were here for the wine and it was excellent. Unfortunately There were only two employees working and it did take some time to order wine. Overall a good experience which couldâve been improved with more employees working.

The restaurant is located at the Grape Creek Winery. The pizza is light and crusty. The toppings are unique. The arugula pizza was fantastic. Wines served are from the winery, so if you want something different you can't get it. It's a good place to stop and relax. The food is paid separately from the wine.

It's a wine bar that serves small plates (tapas), cheeses, etc. Has the best lounge in Fredericksburg, and some of the best deals on wine in the area. You can try any wine in the place by the glass, including a 1990 Opus One!
I would honestly come here to just to drink whiskey and converse with the owner. We heard about this bar on our ghost tour. Naturally, we had to come try it out. The owner was there and was so friendly. He told us about his history in the distillery world and why each art piece was displayed. After hearing we came because of the ghost tour, he obliged in telling us stories about the place. He was so funny and charming. The whiskey was smooth and delicious. It was our first time, and he walked us through the menu. I loved this bar, and I would be back.
