I came across this place last year and it was so good I recently returned when I was in the area. The lady who owns and runs this place is so kind and the food is flavorful and authentic. The wines are superb. Prices are excellent. What more can you ask for?

We felt great in this small, yet lovely bar, with only artisanal drinks (great choice though), delicious snacks, excellent rock music and the nicest bartender we've met in Italy. The cherry tart (on the house - from the attentive bartender / owner?) was delicious! We felt excellent here! And, remember those words in the bar: 'Save planet Earth. It's the only one with beer'. :)

this restaurant was recommended to us by our b&b Il Montesino when we informed them we liked meat...not disappointed at all!!! My husband and son took bistecca fiorentiona and it was truely excellent they spoke as real carnivores! I had the steak tartare with capres, yummie!Appetizers and wines were excellent too, the restaurant is also a winebar, so you can hardly make a bad choice there! Let you guide by Ivan, as we did and you will have a wonderful meal and evening. Excellent service, traditional atmosphere and great Italian cooking. Ivan is very proud of the local cuisine they offer and takes time to explain all dishes. Definitely an address to try if you are in the region.

Came because of the great reviews. Unfortunately we came for breakfast at 10am and the kitchen was closed, they only had one donut (literally, and someone took it before my son could ask for it ââï¸) and some muffins. Coffee was great. From the pictures it seems the food is great but we were told no food. The table next to us got crepes (we were told Kitchen was closed). Our waitress came once to ask what we wanted then once to bring the coffees and never again. I called like five times , she was attending the table next to us and ignored us. The guy at the bar was very nice but thatâs it. The two waitresses we talked to were awful. We are never coming back.Hi stuttgal, we are sorry for your review, if you come back here we will be forgiven!

Inside or outside seating in a superb location inside the walled historic area. We ordered a fabulous meat and cheese tray for an appetizer for one. Turned out to be huge. They recommended a 10 euro local wine that was unfiltered with no sulfites and better than a lot of $60+ bottles Iâve had in the US. We also ordered several pastas, a lasagna and dessert. All terrific and reasonably priced. There is a back room with âfamily tablesâ. (The families with children go to the back room). Great atmosphere, friendly wait staff, and is clearly a local hang out. Returned several times because the staff and food was so good.

Very nice place. We booked table in advance and made 1 first bday of our daughter there. Food is very good (everything- without exeptions). ervice is perfect, they have interesting room of wine where you can chouse a boutle for your event. there are business luinch menu as well. suggest to visit.
