Try the chicken and grilled veggies. Delicious!! It wasn't crowded and parking was easy. Friendly staff, too. Nice place to go when you don't feel like fighting the crowds or parking of the city center.

The place itself is beautiful...brick, beautiful decor - down to the cork napkin rings. The prosciutto and the cheese platter were scrumptious, but the fresh mozzarella melted in your mouth. The wine selected by our waiter was fantastic! The staff was great and the service was fast (given we had to rush back to our expiring meter lol)Definitely a "must eat here"!!

Porta di Bacco welcomes its customers in a carefully restored ancient environment with a healthy, often organic, local or at km 0 cuisine.. Here you will find a delicatessen for quick lunches, a shop with high quality Tuscan cold cuts and cheeses. The res
We had an excellent lunch and amazing wine. Every plate was well presented and super tasty. The cold cuts were delicious! We ended up buying tons of food afterwards at their shop. The girl that served us at the shop, was also the one that prepared our cold cuts, was super friendly and nice. We enjoyed talking to her as she explained us the difference of the different type of meats, their origin and knew what to recommend us. Best food we had in the whole region!Thank you for visiting our delicatessen "Salumeria",we really appreciate your review. Cured meats and Cheeses are from local producers who still work the old way. our team is happy to host you whenever you are in this area.remember that we can also ship to your home.tnaks again Cinzia

The food always surprised positively with it's tastyness and freshness! One might settle with less in a street resturant / enoteca. For lunches and dinners we (a group of 15 from a hotel nearby) had different salads and "hot pans of cheeses and vegetables" and pizzas. - Salad with local mozzarella was beyond expectations, as well as the fresh-from-the-oven bread.Very friendy service and helpfulness in describing and recommending choices for both food and drink.Prices of food in mid-range, wine depending of the choice - which the place has a good quality selection of!Canaebam also has wines and delicacy products excellent for gifts ( f.ex. jars of truffel in a variety of pesto type sauces, jams in different flavours, objects to accompany bottles of wine etc.). Placed right along the street, a part of tables outside overlapping sidewalk makes one cozily feel like being in one's 'own home tavern after daily work', however in a modern and elegant version of such. Modern comes from the interior decoraton, elegance from the wines and supplementary products and cozyness from the warmly welcoming service and helpful advicing in making choices.

This place was near where we were staying. We thought all of the staff were very friendly and courteous. The food was very good. There werenât very many people there but we did get there right towards when it opened, and we know Italians eat later than Americans.

Wine Bar & Bistro in the heart of the old town, it's located in Piazza San Francesco, famous for the stunning view on the valley and on San Biagio Church. "E lucevan le stelle" is open for lunch, apéritifs and dinner, offering a unique location in town fo
This is our favorite bar in Montepulciano. The decor is gorgeous and the background music is perfection. The panoramic views and the outdoor sitting blend perfectly together. They have a great selection of wines and the food menu is great too! Quick, friendly and professional service. We really enjoyed our visit. We try to come here whenever weâre in Italy always worth the drive. Luca (the owner) is a bit serious but always gives you a warm welcome. Definitely recommend this place!

Went with the waiter's recommendation of the Penelope sandwhich (which I ordered) and Pappardelle Cinghiale (which my husband ordered). Both dishes were exceptional!! The service was very good as well! Highly recommend!!

cutting boards made up of cold cuts and cheeses from Tuscany with pickled vegetables, bruschetta with Tuscan olive oil or cheese sauces, cake stuffed text, wines by the glass, beer and other drinks.
We had the lunch there with 8 people and it was pleasure to see that the Owners really wanted to give us the best service. Excellent food, excellent wine and atmosphere. If you want to try the Tuscan salami, prosciutto, pecorino cheese and drink a good wine - go there! It is very nice place.

extremly friendly stuff, good choice of local wine, served by glass, accompained with a cheese, prosciutto and sausages as a finger food. And when you sure about your favourite wine choice, you can take a bottle or two back home, as they sell them, too. Place for enyojment.

How amazing to hike through the Tuscany countryside, up and down undulating hills, to the Toscani farm, where the once-endangered, presently famous, Cinta Senese pigs roam freely and happily, then to lunch at Bradi Toscani, which features the delectable meat of these animals in salami and other cuts. We also had a rich and hearty vegetable soup and enjoyed a select bottle of Montepulciano Brunella, known worldwide.Buying that wine was a mistake! The gregarious owner of Bradi Toscani sent us to a bar/winery/cave "down the street" named Cantina Porte del Sol, which is also in his family. There, the gregarious staff gave us a tour of what surely is an ancient cave. We also sampled a wine named after the three Toscani brothers which had an extraordinary complexity and provided the perfect finale for a wonderful day.Next time, Bradi Toscani all the way!!!!
