Reviews on Wine Bar food in Cascais, Central Portugal, Portugal. A coastal town just 20 miles west of Lisbon, Cascais was once a small fishing village, but its idyllic scenery attracted the attention of artists, writers and expelled European nobility in the 20th century. Today, it still attracts high society, but all society comes in force to enjoy the gorgeous beaches and adventure options like sailing and surfing. The Conde de Castro Guimarães Museum, a former palace, is now open to the public and displays an impressive collection of art and artifacts.

traditional Portuguese food and the very best Portuguese Wines the most by glass open every day 12:00 to 01:00
A group of six of us had tapas dinner here, walked in of the street, drank at the bar and then for a table. We went with their wine recommendations which were good. The tapas was nice, good jamon, excellent cod cakes, nice prawns. Not a big or unusual menu but plenty trip eat and well cooked. The staff are friendly and helpful. We went back another evening and they had the front all open which we found a little chilly but otherwise it was all good.

As far as dining experiences go, ours at Restaurante Terroso was sublime. The dining space inside is intimate with a relaxed charm and warm and friendly atmosphere. They do not cater for that many covers so if you do decide to visit I advise you to book beforehand to avoid disappointment. We decided on the suckling pig as a main course on the owner, Pedro's, advice, and did not regret it. The portions are extremely generous so make sure you go with a good appetite. We asked Pedro to choose a wine for us as our knowledge of Portuguese wine is non existent and he selected a bottle of Quinta da Fata Ressrva 2015 from the Dao region which is made by a friend of his. It was very reasonably priced and really good. I am extremely happy to have found this restaurant and will definitely be going back.

A friendly and relaxed atmosphere where you can taste pure iberian delicacies such as cured ham and traditional cheeses. You can also find a selection of the best portuguese wines to drink at the restaurant or to purchase.
We called in here with no expectations, but weâre greeted with humour and warmth and then had a lovely evening of interesting and tasty tapas. We took all of the waiters recommendations and had charcuterie, followed by mushrooms and black pork neck. All the food was superb, if I was here longer I would happily eat here every night
