This restaurant is only newly opened and four of us had lunch here. The menu is simple, 14.50â¬, and very south-west France, choice of salade de gsiers or beetroot salad, followed by pintarde (guinea fowl) or steak and a choice of puddings. The cooking was exemplary, the steak was so tender it could be cut with a fork and the wine list had interesting wines at decent prices. Service is not fast, there's one waiter (the partner of the cook I think) and the decor is nothing special but there's a nice ambiance. Will definitely be returning.
La Cave Cadillac is a warm and friendly place to enjoy a wide selection of wines (+300) from the region, France and rest of the world. By the glass or bottle, they can be tasted alongside dishes for all tastes (vegetarian/vegan options also), tapas boards
We went en famille and the host could not have been more accommodating there were 15 of us including children. Very informative about the wines of the region and lovely platters of food served with beautiful wines. Thank you for the hospitality

Nice terroir et mer salad, with generous helpings of mussels, queenies, crayfish, crabsticks along with chicken. Omellette was a little greasy and slightly underdone, but came with good frites. Good quality tea. Staff very pleasant.

I don't know about the food, but as a tasting room for Barsac-Sauternes, it's a must-stop. Since Barsac is the only wine region to carry either of the two appellations, you get to taste the best of both worlds. They range from the lighter, less sweet, lower alcohol wines to their distinct opposites. For moi, a dyed-in-the-peel red fancier, I actually enjoyed the experience.

We found this wonderful restaurant/bar in the little town of Langon. We were not expecting very much as Langon is a sleepy town with not much going on. But we made an excellent choice. There is a tapas menu and everything we chose was great. The presentation of the food was lovely. I would highly recommend the plate of mixed cheese and meat. Yummy, it was all delicious . The wine menu was extensive and with a few recommendations from our wonderful host we choice some of the local wines both white and red. The white wine from Chateaux Rolland was outstanding. Great service and wonderful food and wine. Well worth a visit.
