Welcome to a capital city whose story goes back at least 3000 years. In Beijing, you'll find a wealth of history, both ancient (the Hall of Preserving Harmony, Summer Palace, Forbidden City) and more recent (Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Tiananmen Square). For the best market experience, choose the Dirt Market over the touristy Silk Market. A visit to the Great Wall, the longest manmade structure in the world, is absolutely essential.

===Overall===Great place to relax and grab a drink. I went with a few colleagues. I would visit again next time I'm in Beijing. ===Interior===GORGEOUS interiors. Beautiful and relaxing ambiance.===Drinks===We got a few cocktails and a few glasses of wine. Each cocktail presentation was a piece of art. Unfortunately, either the volume or flavor fell a bit short of the expectations and excitement we got when we saw how beautiful the cocktails were. ===Staff===Very friendly and kind.

We stopped in this hotel just so we could see another hotel in Beijing (my degree is in hotel and restaurant management, so restaurants, hotels, bars, etc. are a must see on my list even though I am retired now). The lobby has these really HUGE pots. Different. We had a glass of wine and a beer in the lobby lounge, and they provided a little snack to eat with your drinks. Service was a little slow, but we were not in a hurry, so no big deal.We tried to go to the 5th floor bar, but we guess it is only open at night (as we were there during the day). Doors closed, lights off.
