We had dinner here on a miserable cold Wednesday night. The restaurant was not busy but the food was excellent. The service was very attentive. I had the lamb rack and it was done perfectly. My husband had the salmon stuffed with crab. We would have rated this excellent but we wish our green beans and my couscous had been just a bit warmer. They gave a wonderful crème Brule desert in honor of our anniversary and portion of the desert wine. We will definitely eat here again. A good choice for a higher class of dining in our area. .

Ambi is a breathe of fresh air in Anoka, which already has great dive bars and restaurants, but not much for good wine. Excellent wine list and cozy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Great charcuterie tray with meat, cheese, crackers, and fruit and bread tray with oil and great butter. Also, excellent desserts from Truffles and Tortes. Stop in for happy hour or an end-of-the-evening treat.

Service was excellent. Menu and wines were explained very well.Bistro is decorated lovely and appropriate.Food was great; well presented, tasted delicious and good portions.The French onion soup was the best I have EVER eaten by far !!!We were extremely impressed with the entire adventure.A bit expensive, but a real treat.
