Paskamer is a winebar with a wide range of delicious small bites. Our staff can advise you on wich of the bites will best compliment your wine and vice versa.
We met up with an old friend who works in Amsterdam and this was his choice. Really enjoyable evening and nice tapas. The waitress offered to choose our food and wine and she did a good job both in terms of quality and quantity. She was especially enthusiastic about the wines and would make a great sommelier! Good to step away from the more touristy centre and see a part of the city used by locals. It was packed when we left so get there early or book!

The menu takes a few minutes to clue in to. 3 main dishes, two always there beef and chicken..both very good, plus a daily special. Lots of choices of starters and various types of tapas. Decent desert menu (small) but always tasty. Wine prices reasonable.Very friendly and well informed staff. All in all a very relaxed place to be..tables at the back near the toilets to be avoided....

Living room style wine bar. 1960's furniture.
Came across this place and we were drawn by the prospect of breakfast wine. However by day it is a (very good) cafe so we opted to eat instead. Lovely staff - very friendly and knowledgeable. Credit to the Dutch who make it a homely experience and clocked that we were clearly not local and gave us very useful tips for the dayPastrami sandwich and the meatball sandwiches were lovely. Excellent coffee - perfect stop for a leisurely brunch. Sadly we were elsewhere later in the day but the wines looked very appetising if you’re into that sort of thing. Recommend stopping here if in the areaHi Combat Wombat ;)This is Frank, (part of) your staff the other day. Thank you so much for your compliments and recommendations!Paul(us), the owner of the wine bar, advised me to reply to your lovely review from his account since you posted it on 'wijnbar Paulus' but the day cafe operates under another name, 'Frankie Bos'. Paulus and I share the space, but Paul has been here for four years and his wine bar already has a great reputation where I started with my daytime cafe only last year and have yet to build the brand Frankie Bos. Moreover Paul hopes to avoid guests asking him for coffee and a meatball sandwich haha. Therefore it would be a great help to me if you could copy and paste your review to my Frankie Bos tripadvisor account since I could use positive reviews very well.
