Desperate we were for coffee and a sandwich ; Treherbert did not look too promising till we spotted this place.Great freshly prepared food , most of it home-made . Friendly service and very reasonably priced - fresh salad with sandwiches was first class as was my omelette.

The beef salad crusty rolls, not forgetting some onion, or indeed soft white rolls are totally delicious to take home for tea along with a huge range of cakey delights. Nice staff, very helpful. Comfortable to sit in too especially for toast & coffee or a bacon potato slice nicely warmed.

We attended Llangeinor Arms for a family Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. The roast beef we had was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. All the food was piping hot to the table and both meat and vegetables were plentiful, in fact more than we could all eat. Delicious!Would we go again?? Can wait!

As a family we have enjoyed many a good Sunday lunch at the brynffynon. However today was a big disappointment. Something has gone very wrong. We had to go back to the bar to ask what had happened to our drinks. The service got worse. Deserts that should have been hot were cold. The wait between courses was really long. Then we were served with cold coffee. On leaving I was asked to pay the bill, which in fact my son-in-law had already paid. Not even a sorry from the waitress. It saddens me to write this review because we have enjoyed such good times there. Eira Linehan.

Let me start by saying a HUGE THANK YOU to Louise and her team . Our daughter and son in law chose this venue and it didnât fail our expectations . Louise is great with communication throughout and professional at all times . The venue has many rooms and the surrounding are picturesque . The marquee is so spacious and the dance floor is fabulous . Louise went above and beyond on the day making sure all plans went how they were supposed to . She was an absolute treasure She helped the bride , mother of the bride keeping us calm . We really appreciated that . If you are looking for a venue for your wedding we would highly recommend Lakeside for sure Regards Sangeeta & Vin Mistry

One of my favourite places for breakfast. The pancake stack with Welsh bacon is a particular favourite and pretty filling. Coffee is good and seems to be getting even better. Jack is a laugh out front and thereâs always a good welcome and decent service - a rare commodity these days. Clean and tidy. 5 stars I reckon, just wish theyâd open on a Monday and Tuesday too.
