We've stayed in Moelfre for years and always passed this place and kept saying we should visit....our loss and so glad we finally visit as the food is EXCELLENT and we had the perfect Subday Roast Beef dinner, meat was succulent and veggies spot in. Service was superb and defo a place not to be missed as we will most definitely be visiting again, actually we are going tomorrow before heading home.

We went here for breakfast yesterday, and really glad we did.Lovely fresh and good quality breakfast and large cup of tea, Both ladies in the cafe really friendly and made you feel welcome, owner making brownies while we were there, lots of different cakes which they had gluten free, vegetarian options as well .Also cups, chocolates and little cards to buy.Would definitely recommend and will definitely return.

Called in for lunch never been before, great food and quick service, had a crab and spring onion sandwich the thick brown bread was to die for. Fish and chips also excellent. Old style traditional pub that hasn't probably changed for years , and doesn't need to as it all adds to the location and atmosphere

looking for somewhere to have a late lunch on Anglesey;simple? Not on Anglesey! We tried several places, all of which stopped serving food around 2 - 2.30 p.m.Called into The Boat house Tuesday afternoon and although quite busy, we were seated and served quite quickly by smiling, efficient staff.Food was very tasty, reasonably priced and hot(curry for me and fishcakes for husband)AND no dogs at the dinner tables! (inside)

Stopped by late afternoon and the place was quite full with a mixture of people having coffee/cake and snacks/full meals. Service was good and the food tasty. Great location and plenty off car parking available. Good selection of cakes, which were packaged for us to take away.

Set within an area of outstanding natural beauty only a short drive from the village of Pentraeth The Tavern benefits from idyllic coastal views of Red Wharf Bay & beyond. The Tavern defines itself as a waterfront Restaurant with classically trained chefs
Nine of us ate here on Sunday. All meals arrived together and were large portions. As it was Sunday the usual menu was limited with the focus on Sunday dinners, however several of us ate from the specials - not so limited an alternative. Views are amazing, looking forward to returning in better weather.

We had to sit outside as we had a dog. The views are gorgeous but rather cold on a October Saturday morning.Due to the no dog rules we didn't eat as it would go cold to quick.Drinks were ok but for an independent run business the staff or owner whoever served us was very unfriendly.Thank you for the review, we take comment on board good and bad! We do not allow dogs inside as personally i dont find it very hygienic, however we do allow them on the decking and in the front seating area! There are a few eateries in the village that allow dogs inside. The weather unfortunately isnt down to me and like you pointed out it was October! And onto your last point manners cost nothing i totally agree all the staff we have are very polite and courteous and chatty so find it odd you pointing this out however i will look into it , as its not nice having an off day is it!

So unassuming from outside but inside the food and service is fantastic. Great place to have a bacon sandwich for breakfast the bacon is delicious. Friends stayed with us and we couldn't keep them away, kept going back for afternoon tea, coffee and scrumptious cakes! The owners and staff were really friendly and accommodating. Great take away food also.
