We met a friend for a few drinks & ordered food as we were hungry. The steak was lovely & the chips were spot on! Ended up staying & having a few drinks with the locals, what a great atmosphere & completely welcomed.
Warm friendly, quaint little cafe, situated next to the Mary Jones World exhibit. Perfect view of the lake, and a little park for children.
This is a new cafe and we were disappointed with it. The furniture and atmosphere is very poor. The drinks are served in paper cups and not top quality. They are though top price. We called in on our way to the excellent Mary Jones Exhibition. We had planned to have lunch here afterwards but decided against it.

We hadn't been to the Berwyn since May this year, but wanted to celebrate Kev's Birthday and what better place, than where we were sure of excellent service, delicious food, refreshments served at the right temperature. Ivor in the kitchen and Debbie working her charm on the customers. Kev a d I had Half a Duck served in a Black Cherry Sauce, the Ladies had the Chicken from the Specials Board and then we all had a Sweet from the Eighteen specials. As they say a Sweet to Die For. Specially made by Ivor. Well we'll be back again soon.

Pale Hall is an AA 3 Rosette elegant country house restaurant. Our Head Chef, Gareth Stevenson and his team are producing seasonal signature menus, that focus on fantastic local produce, some from our own gardens, delivered with absolute professionalism i
We stopped here for lunch on the way to North Wales. The hotel is quite stunning. Beautiful public rooms and lovely gardens. We were shown around and everyone was so friendly. The lunch was good value and beautiful tasty food (portion size was a little small). Great puddings! Would highly recommend.Thank you so much for this lovely review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your lunch and the staff were so friendlyKind RegardsAngela
Large cafe and soft play complex serving top quality locally sourced food as well as great Welsh roasted coffee and Welsh brew tea. Breakfast, street food and Asian inspired Ramen is all on the menu complimented by a good array of cake and Vegetarian and
A wonderful space for families with children (soft play area), dogs allowed, lots of places to run about. The food is freshly cooked, healthy and delicious, and the staff are very friendly.

We called in last night for dinner, immediately we were made to feel welcome and told to find a table. We ordered drinks, shepherds pie and haddock & chips. The food arrived tasty and hot. There were lots of people enjoying the food, locals and tourists, even for the 1st week in September. The pub is dog friendly and saw the land lord give the dogs a treat, which is a nice gesture.Overall a good local pub, friendly and good food.

Place looks amazing since itâs recent refurbishment. Visited on a Sunday night in August. Food was cooked to order and worth the wait. They do a lovely Southern Fried Chicken that the colonel himself would be proud of. Good quality and reasonably priced. We live locally and would definitely go back.

Experienced suspiciously swift delivery of food to our table. Obviously significant reliance on microwaves here Iâd say. We had two tasteless chicken curries, a mixed sharing platter that was average at best and a macaroni cheese that didnât look too clever. On a positive note, nice pint of beer! This experience left us hugely disappointed mainly due to the fact that the venue looks interesting and full of character and history from the outside. Thoughts are dashed when you walk in to the bar/dining area from the rear entrance (where we parked). Would definitely not return for food!Sorry to hear about your visit with us.I will pass on to my kitchen team.Feel free to call me anytime if I can be more assistant.Diolch

Really nice Sunday lunches served here. Unfortunately ruined by constant barking, very unrelaxing due to dog owners inability to leave the house without their unruly mut. If you are reading this and have a dog that doesn't respond well to other dogs do everyone else a favour and don't take it out for lunch with you. Staff didn't do anything about the barking so not sure if this was because they are used to it or they were embarrassed? Unfortunately wouldn't return which is a shame as the food was genuinely nice.Very sorry that your lunch was disturbed. We are a dog friendly restaurant and its very rare that we have problems as most dogs are well behaved. Thank you for praising the food and sorry once again that your lunch was disturbed,

Family run village pub and a shop for your essentials home cooked food locally sourced with a warm welcome to all
Went here on a recommendation from the campsite owner. Glad that we followed it up on our last night of camping in the area. Food was amazing, especially the lamb shank and lamb Henry. Portion sizes for kids burgers were more than enough for an 11 & 12 year old who were more than a little bit hungry after a long walk and playing on the water in a kayak! Best garlic bread Iâve had in a long time. Deserts were delicious. Staff friendly and food came quite quickly.
