We picked up take out twice. The first time I only had the won tons since I wasn't very hungry and hubby had a combo plate. We were very happy with it so we went back the next night and both of us had combos. The staff was very friendly both times. They let us have an extra egg roll in place of the won ton soup. (Because we don't eat shrimp). The combo was typical, chicken balls, ribs, rice and egg rolls. The chicken balls were very good with plenty of chicken. Sometimes you end up with batter balls and barely a nugget of chicken inside, not with this place. The ribs were very tender too. The egg rolls were a bit different from what we get at home but very good. I didn't care for the fried rice. It was a bit sticky and tasted like soy sauce. I'd probably asked for plain steamed rice the next time. There was enough food that I wasn't put out by the rice. We would definitely go back.

This a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant.
Stopped in before a hockey game for dinner. Great service and delicious food at very reasonable prices. Their combo plates are the way to go since you get some soup and an imperial roll before your entree. Also the house wine is tasty and very reasonably priced. Will return for sure next time Iâm in Moncton.

This restaurant has been our favourite in Moncton, not only for food quality, but for consistency. I have written a previous review and gave it five stars out of five. On our recent visit however, we were extremely disappointed. There has been a recent menu change, that is not positive. While I prefer the dishes like Pho or other noodle dishes, my husband always gets their Chinese platter. Well, now, thats all changed. They have a combo now that is fried rice, chow-mein and an egg roll. Everything else, ie all protein is an extra charge. So if you want Chicken balls, ribs, the normal fare in combos, each one is an additional nearly $5.00 The servings of Chow-mein and rice are huge and two large unappealing blobs on the plate and the fried rice was slimy oil cooked rice, and flavourless. So we paid $14.95 for that plate and it was mediocre at best. Apparently our complaints have not been the only one. Unfortunately Mai, you have just lost a long term customer. This particular menu change is a complete money grab, and so obvious, its totally off-putting.Dear Caribe, my apologies for your upsetting about the menu changes. One thing about the Chinese is we actually increase the price to cope with the significant rise in food cost, labor cost and all other expenses. We have not changed price for the past 3 years but it is really pressure. However, all food are still cooked with our old recipes and we are proud of how we cooked. I'd love to hear from you again about how we can improve and to have you back as our loyal customers. My name is Tuan and my email is [email protected].

Veggie Vietnam offers vegetarian Vietnamese cuisine with cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Our sophisticated chief will serve distinct and unforgettable vegan dishes.
Tried Veg. Vietnam for a Saturday lunch. Took 1.5 hours, even though restaurant was empty. Most common noise from the kitchen was that of a microwave. H & S soup clearly had frozen vegetables, straight from the bag (or probably microwave); same frozen veggies in fried rice. Garden rolls mainly lettuce. I'm sorry people, but this just is not good Vietnamese food. No fresh herbs, so fresh ingredients, no real flavours. Worse part is went to washroom on way out; you need to go through doors to kitchen to find bathroom and the kitchen is a disaster. Wish I saw that first...

I like this restaurant. The service was friendly and we were informed that sauces are homemade. I asked for spicy pad Thai. She hesitated and it came out bland but not overly sweet. My friend enjoyed her green curry. I would go back next time Iâm in Moncton.Tricky location- off Main Street next to a busy pub.

This place gets crowded instantly on lunch hour, very small and you usually have to wait. Good news is that no matter how long you wait (usually never very long) it's always worth it. I have been there a few times, always tried something new and have never been disappointed by any choice. A true gem of quality food when a lot of Asian restaurants go for speed and bland food, this one delivers the try flavors each and every time.
