Tried Orange again tonight. Nothing has changed. Asked 3 times for chopsticks. 3 times for our drinks to be served...hello owners you missed out on another 4 drinks worth $28 because we waited so long for our initial order of drinks, and I had to ask 5 times, YES 5 times for a side order of chillies. Have nothing good to say about the waiter, yes he was busy, but to be walking around with his hand behind his back as if he was in a 5 star restaurant, clearing tables whilst people waited for food to be served, is not a happy dining experience. Nothing good to say. Amen

We had a short visit to the township of Mittagong as we returned from the Wombeyan Caves and we are glad we stopped at the Vietnamese Restaurant. Although the name of the restaurant was not inspiring the food certainly was. On par with some of the other Vietnamese restaurants located in metro the food was excellent and served in a timely manner. The whole fried snapper, the entree chicken balls it was all delish! Price wise it was not too bad. The service was great and the meals came out in a timely manner despite the number of dinners and take away orders. Highly recommended.
Where to eat Cafe food in Mittagong: The Best Restaurants and Bars
âAverage Thaiâ is about the best you can expect in the Southern Highlands, but even by those standard this is so disappointing. $86 bought us 2 entrees, 2 mains and some rice, so quite expensive for takeaway. All the dishes had a sour-greasy aftertaste that left us feeling queasy. Our corn fritters were gloopy and flavourless (apart from the greasy taste I mentioned); the âcrispy fried wontonsâ special were rubbery flavourless discs dripping with oil; the BBQ pork was so tough and dry we couldnât eat it (I used my portion as dog treats) and the stuffed squid special was just inedible. The squid tasted âoffâ and the stuffing was very peculiar in both texture and flavour; I felt so nauseous after the first bite that I couldnât eat it. My partner soldiered on but agreed in the end that he wished he hadnât. This is the taste of a health code violation waiting to happen. We will not be going there again.
