Saigon Cafe

Set in an increasingly Asian area around Gwinnett Place Mall, the strip mall location has friendly staff and a clean and typical / characteristic decor with the requisite fake palm trees. The spring rolls of varying types were very good. The Tom Kha soup was also delicious. Stir fried rice with mixed beef, shrimp and chicken was bland. Likewise the stir fried Thai curry noodles with shrimp was without heat or significant flavor. Service was good and prices are very reasonable (~$20 per person with tax and tip).

Pho Dai Loi 3

I am not the biggest pho seeker out there but went here with a friend from work for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Quality and quantity (medium bowl) were very good. Lots of flavor with the fresh herbs provided. I added some hot sauce to taste also as I like a little spice too. $9 for medium bowl. I will be back.

What the pho

Reviewed By 643ccm

We're fans of vietnamese food. We know what good pho should taste like. We have our favoriates and have certainly tried all the popular pho places in Johns Creek, Duluth and Buford Hwy. We've always wanted to try "what the pho", since we drive by the area quite often. Finally, this Tue, we decided to order a take out for 2 and give the place a try. The place was small, but there was only a few customers on a Tue night. We figured that we should receive service rather quickly. The wait staff was friendly, and as expected, the order was placed promptly. The take out order was ready in only 15 min. But, when I got home I realized that one of the dishes was not what I ordered and the other pho dish was absolutely awful. The soup was suppose to be the best part. But this soup was on the salty side, I even tried adding extra basil and cilantro from my garden to improve the flavor. I can't get my husband to eat it either. He's normally not as picky as I am.
