I ordered from here from the poker room menu -- the chow fun comes as a huge plate that was really delicious -- even better than some of the noodle places you can find in the Las Vegas Strip casinos.I also for some reason ordered a bowl of steamed rice -- that was huge too, I couldn't finish it. The price was pretty affordable -- $16 and when you order from the poker room the discount came to $8!I'll definitely come by again if I'm in the area in the future!
We found that they had a good rating, so we gave them a try on Sunday. There's only a few tables for diners to eat there. Urban Chops seems to be owner operated. We had ordered:Lemongrass PorkCoconut Curry Shrimp and PorkRoasted Chicken BreastAnd shared a Palm Tree Nectar Creme Brulee. It was all so good, and I'd recommend each of those platters.
I ate the pho noodel soup and found it very good. I have eaten pho soup at several other restaurants and found the soup traditionally served and as good as any of these orher restaurants. I ordered the brisket, and the meat was a little fatty so you may want to stay away from this cut. But otherwise enjoyable with a pleasant wait staff and no surprises and all reasonably priced.
We showed up at 8:10. They were closed. But they let us in anyway. We ordered their special pho. Extra large for $11! My husband and I couldn't finish it and had leftovers for lunch. Amazing! Highly recommend. Super nice family runs it.
They just opened few weeks ago is more Vietnamese than Thai, it looks like is family run and the service is very good. Thai food is one of my favorites and sometimes I get disappointed if the food is not authentic, but here the menu for Thai is small but it tastes great, the curries are delicious and they have a very good Thai tea. The only thing that wasnât good were the bubble teas, they were so sweet and the tapioca was uneven hydrated so some was soft and others were firm. Our table also tried the Pad thai noodles and were very good. They have a system of spiciness so they offer you from 0 to 5 spiciness level.. be careful whit what you choses
