Our tour group came here for lunch (as did several other tour groups). The entrance is up a steep winding staircase, but when you arrive it's a lovely location. They had a violinist playing standard tourist music. The food was so-so: the apps and the chicken kebobs were mediocre.
Bukhara, as the pearl of the Great Silk Road, is one of the world tourism centers! That is why in this ancient city, which stands at the crossroads of trade routes, opened its doors a new tourist restaurant - Theatre of the Silk Ipak Yuli.
One of very rare places in Bukhara with good food.Try beef reebs (picture is attached). There is a show at 8:00 p.m. It is kind of mixture of fashion, national dances, and theatre performance of silk history. All they wear costumes and show how silk moved from China to Europe. The performance is good to see once, I think it could be done better. Anyway good place to relax and have good meal. Can be good for both, business and casual meal with friends.

Good restaurant that clearly caters to tourists, the menu is extensive and diverse, and includes both local and international items and a separate section with vegetarian selections. Service was friendly and attentive. Only negative is the prices that are noticeably higher than comparable restaurants in the area, another sign that this place targets a tourist clientele.

If you rated the Bukhara Restaurants relative to world standards you would offend them all so this rating reflects relativity to others around. It was OK food, possibly a little better than some but still fairly standard kebab and the usual fare. Service was fine but not special and prices were higher.

This restaurant is located in a charming square in Bukhara, we ended up there as the sun was setting and honestly it was one of the best views of the entire trip. The dining area is in a courtyard, all nicely decorated in uzbek style. Food is uzbek of course but very tasty and well prepared. Portions were quite big and service was not too slow. We were lucky to go there early as later on a big tourist group arrived and the courtyard became very noisy.Price is totally reasonable.

To sum up our recent visit to Rustam, it was a unique experience. Not often does one get to travel and eat a meal cooked and served by a family in their own residence. Mother and one son did the cooking, father and another son helped serve the guests. We were also shown with their treasured ceramics and self made jewellery by the son. We enjoyed greatly our conversation with the son who is graduating soon from university and speaks very good English. In terms of food, we had corn soup, cauliflower and beet salad, beef with potato and carrot stew and apple cake. Decent taste with leaning on healthy cooking (i.e, not greasy). We applauded on their innovative concept of hosting dinner in their home as who knows this concept could become the new "airbnb" way of serving dinner for travelers.
This is a gem of a restaurant in central Bukhara. The shaded, open courtyard and friendly staff make a great atmosphere. The menu is nicely varied with typical Uzbek dishes you would expect and some less common. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. On top of that is that it is very good value for its central, tourist location. Also one of the few places in all of Uzbekistan that you are able to pay by card, should you need to!

Make sure that you book in advance. We had starters and mains and a very nice dry red wine. All delicious. It was the most expensive meal we've had in Uzbekistan but then it was still only 80,000 per person.

The restaurant Hon Atlas is located in the center of Bukhara, next to the architectural ensemble of the same name Poi-Kalyan. The restaurant is divided into two terraces with a panoramic view of the old part of Bukhara. Here you will be offered dishes con
We visited Xon Atlas twice during our stay in Bukhara, not only because of the gorgeous panorama but also for the excellent food. The restaurant is a bit hard to find in a little street right next to the Kalyan Mosque but it's really worth the effort. The owner is very friendly, prices are more than correct, and while the menu is somewhat limited, all of the dishes are absolutely delicious. (There is now also a menu with pictures available in English and Russian). Highly recommended!Dear friend! We are very glad to see you in our restaurant. Thank you very much for your warm comment and recommendations to other travellers. Good luck and come to us again!
