Family run restaurant, rustic atmosphere ideal for families, thanks to the large garden for children to play. Our restaurant offers an outstanding view of the Tower of Radicofani and the town of Abbadia San Salvatore, in an environment far from town. The
We had lunch at this restaurant on Tuesday mid March. We were the only tourists. All others were locals. All of us had a pasta dish. They were all just perfect and quite huge. The restaurant is located in the woods just outside Abaddia. We can higly recommend this restaurant and it is not expensive.

Don't let the the somewhat formal decor distract you. This is a restaurant where cooking is taking seriously without forgetting that Italian food is about strong flavors and basic ingredients. La Fontanella never disappoints, great pastas (best lasagna in the world), baccalá, wonderful meat. I wish that one day they will leave the modern building and would move to a more charming place in the old part of the village.

Locale che propone oltre 70 tipi di pizza.. Primi piatti fatti a mano antipasti , fritti, insalatone, tagliate, dolci fatti totalmente in casa. Il locale può contenere circa 140 persone., tra il gazebo esterno sempre accessibile anche in inverno essendo s
It is a simple restaurant but with real Italian food. If you chose pasta they will serve it " al dente" if you want a bit more cooked you should ask for it. The house wine is good and cheap. Good relation price / quality.

What should I say about estaurant Anna? I like EVERYTHING about it: friendly atmosphere, cordiality of owners, speed of service, the great Monte Amiata. But above all there is the heart of the success of this restaurant: food is the KING. Every meal is absolutely at highest level.

We had a lovely meal here after an evening in the hot springs - there is a real homely atmosphere in the restaurant, which appears popular with locals and tourists alike. We were there mid week in winter and at 9pm local families poured in. The food was delicious and the restaurant beautifully decorated and maintained. They even lit a fire for us!

Authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of one of the most beautiful cities in Toscana. Famous for its pizza, grilled local meat and different types of artisan sandwiches. You can also find some special wines here.
We arrived by bike after climbing Amiata and then up to Radicofani.Paulo quickly suggested a selection of specialities and chose a great wine, after thirsty bikers had a beer or 2. Bruschetta with chicken liver and a game bird pate followed by a delicious steak tartare . Then a rabbit pappardelle a special fish ball and gnocchi . All very local and well prepared and presented.Bravo Paulo!!

No menu and just like eating at grandma's house! Wonderful pici with ragu or all'aglione (tomato sauce with garlic) and lamb in very tasty sauce

In a restaurant labelled as "nouvelle cuisine" you usually have large dishes with little food inside. Here the dishes are equally large, but full of excellent traditional cuisine. Do not come here if you are following a diet. Prices more than reasonable.

This restaurant came recommended by the owners of the accommodation we were staying in. We booked a table and were pleased to learn that the chef/owner spoke English. On arrival our party was made to feel very welcome and the chef came out to speak to us and to suggest a starter course of antipasti to share. We readily agreed and then also ordered our mains etc. The antipasti was the best I have ever enjoyed in Italy or elsewhere. There was so much to choose from that we all felt we need not have ordered anything else. The pasta course was also delicious and the desserts too. The next day the chef sent a message hoping that we had enjoyed our meal which I thought was a very nice touch. A lovely experience and a lovely meal-thank you.
